A Study On The Influencing Factors Of China’s High-tech Industry Position In Global Value Chain Based On The Perspective Of Intermediate Products Configuration

With the rise and rapid development of the global value chain,more and more countries have participated in the global production system,which has changed the international division of labor and trade pattern.Since China joined the WTO,it has actively integrated into the global value chain division system by virtue of its demographic dividend and super-large market size.As one of the industries with the most extensive and in-depth division of labor in the global global value chain,high-tech industry has been expanding its trade scale in recent years,which has boosted the development of the real economy.However,the trade pattern of China’s high-tech industry is mainly processing trade,which has been in the middle and lower reaches of global value chain division for a long time and is facing the risk of "low-end locking".At the same time,international trade protectionism has been rising frequently in recent years.In particular,the US has taken measures to control the export of high-tech intermediate products to China,posing more severe challenges to China’s economic and industrial transformation and upgrading.Improving innovation ability,mastering core technology and replacing imported intermediate products with domestic intermediate products are the keys to effectively avoid the risk of external "technology decoupling",promote sustained economic growth and build a "trade power".Based on this,through theoretical and empirical analysis,this paper studies the status quo of intermediate products trade in China’s high-tech industry and the promotion of division of labor in global value chain from the viewpoint of intermediate products configuration.This study provides experience and lessons for promoting the benign development of China’s high-tech industry and the emergence of new development models.Literature studies have shown that the advantages of China’s high-tech industry in import and export scale and global output scale are expanding year by year,but in terms of added value,the high value-added links in the global value chain are still occupied by developed economies.On the basis of existing research,this paper tries to carry out in-depth research from the following issues: first,how to interpret the trade status quo of high-tech industry and the characteristics of intermediate products trade;Second,how to explain the dynamic mechanism and formation mechanism of the configuration of intermediate products driving the promotion of global value chain division of labor;Third,when China’s high-tech industry is embedded in the global value chain,does technological innovation promote the improvement of the configuration of intermediate products? In view of the above problems,the main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,this paper summarizes the theoretical basis of high-tech industry global value chain,mainly from three aspects: the relationship theory of global value chain,the measurement method of global value chain division status and domestic and foreign influencing factors.On the basis of summarizing the existing research results,this paper analyzes and summarizes the trade development status of China’s high-tech industry,analyzes the characteristics of intermediate products trade integrated into global value chain,and reveals the key and problems of participating in the intermediate products trade of global value chain.On this basis,the paper discusses the internal logical relationship and mechanism of the promotion of China’s high-tech industry value chain status from the perspective of intermediate products configuration,which provides an important theoretical basis for promoting the promotion of China’s high-tech industry value chain division status.Through the empirical analysis of the mechanism of the promotion of China’s high-tech industry’s global value chain division status from the perspective of intermediate products configuration,the author tries to demonstrate that there are two main ways to realize the promotion of value chain: one is the increase of domestic value-added rate of export,the other is the decrease of export dependence.Further empirical analysis shows that domestic intermediate product technology innovation enhances the positive impact of intermediate product configuration on global value chain division of labor position.Finally,from the perspective of the configuration of intermediate products,this paper puts forward relevant policy suggestions on how To improve the division of labor status of China’s high-tech industry in the global value chain.
