In recent years, with the occurrence of international events such as COVID-19,Ukraine and Russia war,the international situation is complex and changeable, and the uncertainty of economic growth has further increased. As one of the troikas driving economic growth, consumption plays an increasingly important role.Under the background of domestic and international double cycle development, expanding domestic demand has become the basic point of long-term strategic development, and consumption has gradually become a new engine of economic growth. The consumption of urban and rural residents is affected by many factors, among which finance is an important part. However, the phenomenon of financial inhibition and Financial Exclusion still exists for a long time, which hinders economic development to a certain extent.Based on the above background, this paper first combs the relevant literature, and further discusses the impact on the consumption structure based on the research on the impact of digital Inclusive Finance on the total consumption.Secondly,it defines the concepts of digital Inclusive Finance and consumption structure, and constructs the theoretical mechanism analysis framework.First, starting from the depth of digital use, this paper discusses its changes and breakthroughs in traditional financial services; The second is to discuss the long tail inclusive effect from the perspective of digital coverage;Thirdly, starting from the degree of digitization, this paper discusses the upgrading mechanism of consumption structure under the digital economy according to Harvey’s capital cycle theory. Finally, based on this, this paper constructs a theoretical model and makes an empirical analysis.Using the macroeconomic data of 31 provinces, this paper makes econometric demonstration such as intermediary effect estimation, panel data regression model and heterogeneity analysis. It is found that the development of digital inclusive finance can effectively promote the upgrading and optimization of the consumption structure of urban and rural residents.Secondly, the depth and coverage of digitization can promote the growth of disposable income of urban and rural residents, while the degree of digitization can optimize the industrial structure. There are some intermediary effects. The former mainly acts on survival consumption and the latter mainly acts on development consumption. Finally,"digital regional inclusion" depends on the degree of digitization, which is conducive to the development of relatively equal digital consumption, and there is great regional heterogeneity between urban and rural areas. |
