Research On The Application And Effect Of Asset Divestiture In Sante Cableways Strategic Transformation

With the continuous changes of China’s market economy,the problems of enterprises blindly adopting diversification strategy in the early stage are gradually increasing,the negative synergy continues to promote the strategic transformation of enterprises,and asset restructuring has become increasingly common.The ways of enterprise asset reorganization mainly include expansion reorganization and contraction reorganization.However,under the background of "big enterprise disease",more and more enterprises have adopted the contraction strategy,that is,asset divestiture.When enterprises are in the bottleneck period and recession period of development,effective asset stripping can not only help enterprises get rid of short-term financial difficulties,but also an important means of strategic transformation.Firstly,this thesis summarizes and summarizes the relevant literature from three aspects: the influencing factors and realization path of strategic transformation,the motivation and effect of asset divestiture,and the application effect of asset divestiture in strategic transformation.At the same time,it introduces and analyzes the relevant concepts of strategic transformation and asset stripping,as well as the refocusing theory,efficiency theory and resource allocation theory.Secondly,taking Wuhan Sante Cableways Group Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as Sante Cableways)as the case object,based on the understanding of the company profile and basic strategic planning of Sante Cableways,after deeply combing the implementation process of its asset divestiture,build the relevant evaluation index system to analyze the changes before and after its asset divestiture in detail.Finally,according to the changes after the divestiture of Sante Cableways,some suggestions are put forward on how other enterprises in China use asset divestiture to implement strategic transformation.From the research results of this thesis: the five index systems constructed according to the situation of Sante Cableways enterprises,whether evaluated from single index system or composite index system,show an upward trend in the overall change.This change effectively proves that asset divestiture plays a certain role in promoting the capabilities of enterprises,and can be used as an effective means of strategic transformation.At the same time,we get relevant enlightenment:enterprises should maintain a correct understanding of asset divestiture,pay attention to resource allocation in the process of asset divestiture,and combine it with the overall development strategy of enterprises.
