Research On The Impact Of Government Subsidies On The Performance Of New Energy Vehicle Enterprises

In recent years,the new energy vehicle industry has seen a huge increase in sales driven by the government’s huge subsidies.Since 2015,it has been ranked first in the world.The product of new energy vehicles,which is a "new track",has also rapidly entered the view of the public.In the process of industrial expansion,the government has played a vital role in providing large subsidies to help enterprises carry out R&D and promotion and application.China’s new energy automobile production volume from 2014 in 70000 to 2020 in 1.36 million,appeared more obvious jump,but also stand out,car companies to lie about research and development progress and quality of vehicle parameters to obtain the government subsidies,new energy vehicles frequently exposed problems,such negative events also let the social from all walks of life to the healthy development of new energy vehicles are sceptical.In addition,the government is constantly adjusting the threshold of government subsidies,implementing the points-based system,and realizing the normal supervision of subsidies.With the increase of the threshold and the compression of the subsidy amount,the government subsidies for new energy vehicles in China are expected to be completely cancelled in 2023,and China’s major car companies will face a big test after adapting to the long-term subsidy support environment.Our research on the impact of government subsidies on the performance of new energy vehicle enterprises is also to comply with the needs of industrial development,and strive to give full play to the boosting role of government subsidies in the expansion period of enterprise development,to help China’s new energy vehicle enterprises find their own development direction after subsidy regression or even cancellation,onto the right track.Previous scholars mostly used empirical methods to study government subsidies.This paper selected specific case companies and analyzed them in the way of case study so as to obtain some new perspectives.For different industries,the types of government subsidies are different.This paper not only focuses on the application and promotion subsidies with a large amount,but also includes r&d subsidies into the scope of discussion.Financial performance and innovation performance are selected for analysis,with more detailed and accurate data selection and a more comprehensive perspective for discussion.This paper first introduces the background and significance of the research in the first part of the introduction,summarizes the research conclusions of the domestic and foreign academic circles on this topic,and introduces the research content,methods and innovation points in order.The second part is a brief description of the relevant concepts and theoretical basis involved in this paper.The third part from the industry development status,the development process of subsidies and subsidies amount and types of three aspects of government subsidies related policies are elaborated.Then it introduces the typicality of the case company Yutong Bus from two aspects,that is,why it is selected as the case company of this paper.A number of indicators related to financial and innovation performance are selected as factors to explore the impact of government subsidies on enterprise performance.Last part is expounded in this paper,dig out "new energy car companies financial performance of the strong dependence on government subsidies,subsidies and specific subject to the influence of duration of","subsidies on innovation performance incentive effect is not obvious" and other issues,according to the problems found from the government and enterprises set out two main Suggestions.This paper hopes to provide reference for subsidy users and policy makers by studying the relationship between government subsidies and enterprise performance,and also play a certain role in promoting the efficient and benign development of the new energy vehicle industry.
