Coupling And Coordination Of Corporate Social Responsibility And High-quality Economic Development

Since the Nineteenth National Congress,China’s economy has entered a period of high-quality development,fostering the comprehensive and long-term development of economic construction,political building,cultural construction,social construction,and ecological civilization.Corporate social responsibility serves as a link between government,business,and society in the process of promoting high-quality development,and it is a key motivator for leading the economy to high-quality development.At the same time,high-quality economic development gives corporate social responsibility new connotations and requirements,encouraging businesses to fulfill broader social responsibility under the guidance of new development concepts,as seen in economic growth,political construction,cultural prosperity,social welfare,environmental protection,and other areas.When corporate social responsibility and high-quality economic development are viewed as two systems,there is clear element flow and value exchange between them,which promote and couple one another.The study of the coupling and coordination between the two systems can show not only the current state of the corporate social responsibility and high-quality economic development systems,but also serve as a guide for future development.The role of the two systems was first examined in this study.The two systems were built based on this,each from the perspective of one of the continent’s 31 regions.Using a thorough evaluation model,I developed the enterprise social responsibility index and the high-quality economic growth index for each province from 2016 to 2020.The two systems of 31 areas were then estimated using the coordination model,including the degree of connectivity and the schedule change.Finally,the factors that influenced the development of the two systems were evaluated using the structure model,and an influence factors staircase model was developed to promote the development of the two systems.The following are the key conclusions reached in this paper:(1)There was a significant difference between corporate social responsibility and high-quality economic growth from the perspective of each region;the results of the31 regions revealed that there was a strong relationship between the two systems in each region.It establishes a theoretical link between the two systems.(2)The coupling and coordination levels of provinces(cities and districts)were significantly different and mostly moderate in terms of time-space distribution and time-sequence changes,indicating that the quantitative relationship between corporate social responsibility system and economic high-quality development system does not have a positive effect on their feedback process.(3)The corporate social responsibility system and the economic high-quality development system are the direct influencing factors of coordinated development in element exchange from the standpoint of coupling and coordinating influencing factors of the two systems.The direct impacting variables were stable development,philanthropy,and environmental conservation.
