| In the process of group decision making, differences may arise due to the diversity of individual opinions. Therefore, the group consensus reaching process plays an important role, which can recommend individuals to interact for adjusting their opinions and reaching group consensus. In the group consensus reaching process, the social network relationship of closeness and trust or alienation and resistance among individuals will affect the results of the interaction. In addition,as the number of individuals increases,on the one hand,if individuals are not forced to adjust their opinions, the cost of group consensus will become high,on the other hand,it will be difficult for the individuals to have a global perspective to know all the other individuals’opinion in the group, then the consensus-reaching mechanism that refers to the group opinions to adjust their own opinion will no longer be applicable. Therefore,in order to fully consider the dynamic social network among individuals and improve the efficiency of group consensus without forcing individuals to adjust their opinions, this paper proposes an adaptive group consensus model considering both individual and local world opinions based on the social network using theoretical approaches such as social network analysis and opinion dynamics, etc. In terms of social network evolution, this paper takes both the opinion distance among individuals and the individual network structure similarity as the basis for social network evolution. The opinion distance among individuals determines whether two individuals have the opportunity to establish an edge, the individual network structure similarity determines the probability of two individuals establish an edge.In this way,it is ensured that individuals do not break the edge with each other only due to the incompatible opinion, nor do they establish the edge only due to a similar opinion.Secondly, based on the social network among individuals, individuals interact with each other to achieve individual opinions evolution. It is recommended that the two friends with the most incompatible opinions to interact.Being friends with each other ensures the feasibility of interaction, and the most incompatible opinions ensure that the group consensus efficiency can be maximized. This paper defines the concept of local world opinions as the common friends’ opinions within the confidence threshold of two individuals, then the recommended individuals adjust their opinions based on the distance between their opinions with reference to the individual and local world opinions. After that, the convergence of the proposed model was verified by mathematical proofs. Finally, simulation experiments are used to analyze the effectiveness of the proposed model and to explore the influence of the main parameters on the time to reach the stable state and the number of opinion clusters in the stable state. The main conclusions are as follows:1)The group consensus reaching model considering individual and local world opinions can effectively reach a consensus, and its efficiency is greater than the efficiency of the group consensus reaching model with reference to the individual opinion.2)When the confidence threshold is ε>0.3,the individual opinions can finally reach the global consensus. The simulation results are consistent with the results of most researches, which show that when the confidence threshold increases to a certain value, the differences in opinion adjustment mechanisms will not be able to play a leading role in the global consensus. The proposed adaptive group consensus model takes social network among individuals into account and can improve the efficiency of group consensus without forcing individuals to adjust their opinions. Therefore, the model can simulate the consensus reaching process of group decision making in realistic scenarios and enrich the existing research system of group consensus reaching model. |
