| Due to the explosive growth of mobile data usage in recent years, future cellular networks are expected to offer higher capacity and ubiquitous coverage.A new technique to overcome these challenges is to deploy a mix of technologies, frequencies, cell sizes, and network architectures to best respond to different user needs, known as the concept of heterogeneous networks.A common method for analyzing heterogeneous cellular networks is to use random geometry and treat the location of base stations as distributed points according to the homogeneous Poisson Point Process(PPP),but around densely populated areas, the cluster point process is closer to the real base station location. In shopping malls, railway stations and other places,it is easy for users to form clusters. At this time,PPP can not be accurately evaluated for related performance indicators, and Poisson Cluster Process(PCP)should be used for modeling. However, the mathematical results obtained by its research are very complex and difficult to calculate,so it is difficult to analyze the network performance theoretically. However, compared with traditional methods,PCP can better simulate the deployment of hot spot areas and is more in line with the actual situation. Therefore,it is an important topic in the field of wireless communication to explore an accurate method to analyze the performance of heterogeneous cellular networks. In order to avoid that the PPP model cannot accurately describe the location distribution of base stations in hot spots, this paper uses the Matern cluster process model in the Poisson cluster process to model the cellular network, and uses random geometry as the analysis tool to analyze. In this paper, two cell selection methods of heterogeneous cellular networks are introduced and the downlink coverage probability of typical mobile users based on average power selection and instantaneous power selection is derived. Then, the Matern cluster process is used for modeling, and then the downlink coverage probability is derived by using the scheme based on the instantaneous Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio(SINR).The simulation results show that the base station deployment based on Poisson cluster has higher coverage probability. |
