In the future, the 5G Internet of Things will reduce the cell radius and increase the number of low-power nodes to support the traffic growth demand.Cooperative communication technology can effectively solve these problems as a virtual MIMO technology. It has advantages such as eliminating blind spots in network coverage, expanding network coverage, saving construction costs, improving communication system performance, and rapidly deploying networks. It has been widely used in areas such as cellular mobile communication networks, wireless local area networks, and wireless sensor networks. With the rise of network evolution, research on multi-layer systems has gradually become a hot topic. The combination of game theory and multi-layer networks is a good fit for describing individual cooperative behavior, providing a theoretical framework for the emergence of cooperative behavior among selfish individuals. Therefore, the work of this article is to study the dynamic evolution of multi-layer cooperation communication networks in the context of the Internet of Things. The main research contents are as follows:(1)According to the dynamic evolution characteristics of cooperative communication networks, this section constructs a multi-domain cooperative communication network evolution model with preferential attachment and random attachment and analyzes the network characteristics and robustness by using the rate equation and mean field method.Based on this, aiming at the resource constraints and resource allocation of communication nodes,a relay selection strategy is proposed based on the combination of maximum degree and minimum clustering coefficient. The research results show that the relay node selection strategy based on the combination of maximum degree and minimum clustering coefficient has obvious advantages in selection steps and selection time, which greatly improves the performance of relay selection in multi-cooperative communication networks.(2)According to the complex characteristics of multi-layer network presents, this section proposes an evolutionary game model for two-layer heterogeneous cooperative communication Io T based on prisoner’s dilemma games, through the interaction and co-evolution of network growth and strategy evolution, applying preferential and random attachments based on revenue to the multi-layer network model, introduce the coupling strength to adjust the connection density between the layers and adjust the proportion between the strategy evolution and the network growth through the growth rate. The research results show that the network layer shows scale-free network characteristics, and the inter-layer shows random graph characteristics.Increasing the growth rate can significantly enhance the level of cooperation among individuals in the network, and the increase of coupling strength can inhibit the level of cooperation among individuals in the network.
