In the era of the Internet,with the rapid development of information technology,network communication technology,as the main way for people to share information,has played a crucial role in promoting the informatization process of human society.People’s pursuit of network communication technology is no longer limited to a single usability,but towards diversified directions such as security and concealment.In this context,covert communication technology has emerged.Traditional covert communication has problems such as unstable information transmission and vulnerability to attacks,gradually making it difficult to meet the needs of covert communication.Because of its openness,transparency,tamper proof,anonymity and other characteristics,blockchain has a broad application prospect in information interaction and can meet the requirements of covert communication.With the rapid development of blockchain technology and the continuous implementation of related applications,blockchain based covert communication technology has also received widespread attention.However,blockchain-based covert communication schemes in existing research have drawbacks such as complex transaction recognition choices,poor concealment,low availability,and overall low performance.This article focuses on addressing these shortcomings,integrating the traditional covert communication model with the characteristics of blockchain technology.Starting from the perspectives of data embedding in blockchain and the mechanism of blockchain communication,a blockchain based covert communication technology scheme is designed.The design ideas,implementation methods,and key algorithms of the scheme are introduced in detail,and good results have been achieved in simulation experiments.After experiments and technical analysis,the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed scheme have been proven.At the same time,summarize the shortcomings and issues of the proposed scheme,and provide prospects for future research directions.The main work of the paper is as follows:Firstly,this article analyzes the limitations of traditional covert communication,combines the unique characteristics of blockchain with existing covert communication technology solutions,analyzes the advantages of blockchain based covert communication technology,establishes a universal model for constructing covert channels in a blockchain environment,compares it with traditional covert communication solutions,analyzes and summarizes them,Summarized the three main stages and key issues involved in blockchain technology based covert communication solutions.Secondly,based on the universal model,a blockchain covert communication scheme based on external carriers has been designed.This scheme utilizes ciphertext strategy attribute encryption technology to encrypt secret information,and combines it with the Interplanetary File System(IPFS)technology to design a scheme that can transmit hidden documents.That is,the secret information is embedded in the carrier file and stored offline,and the content of the encrypted document is obtained through secret communication with the receiver through the chain.In this way,the data on and off the chain can become relatively independent,enhancing the system’s security,concealment,and hidden capacity.Therefore,it can solve the problem of using too few redundant fields and limited transmission capacity of hidden information in blockchain structures.On this basis,ring signature and one-time signature technology are used to ensure the anonymity of the communication party in the hidden channel and provide a secure and reliable communication channel on the chain.The performance was analyzed by comparing it with other schemes through experiments.Thirdly,based on the universal model,a blockchain covert communication scheme based on transaction mechanism has been designed.By utilizing the mechanism generated by Bitcoin transactions,secret information is embedded in customizable fields of the transaction,and invalid transactions are constructed using the mechanism of transaction withdrawal to solve the problem of UTXO that cannot be consumed,thus constructing a hidden channel.Solved the problem of low information embedding and transmission efficiency in existing blockchain covert communication technology solutions.And simulation experiments were conducted on the proposed scheme,and the experimental results proved the superiority of the proposed scheme.
