Digital existence based on social media platforms has become an integral part of contemporary life,and users sharing personal information on social media are accompanied by concerns about the privacy risks of that behavior.Online social platforms have broken the boundaries of space and time,and the dissolution of boundaries has made users gradually realize that they need to control who has access to their privacy,so they need to draw the boundaries of social media to protect their privacy.The launch of the IP attribution public display has broken the original privacy boundaries,how will it bring changes to social media users’ privacy perception and privacy management?In addition,how do users’ trust in media privacy technology and privacy risk memory affect privacy concerns and privacy management? To answer these questions,this study establishes an APCO(Antecedents→Privacy Concerns→Outcomes)model based on Communication Privacy Management(CPM)theory,with privacy concerns as an intermediate variable,and focuses on users’ trust in media privacy technologies and privacy risk memory.The impact of antecedent variables,such as privacy technology trust and privacy risk memory,and IP attributes public display,on privacy management was established.In this study,331 valid samples were collected by questionnaire method,and the data were cleaned and processed;data analysis of the obtained data was performed by SPSS25.0,and the following conclusions were drawn from testing the hypotheses: first,privacy risk memory can significantly and positively promote the understanding and perception of permissions for IP territorial disclosure;second,social media users with higher levels of understanding and perception of IP attribution public display also show higher levels of privacy concern;third,privacy concern significantly and positively promotes privacy boundary possession,while negatively inhibits users’ privacy boundary penetration and privacy boundary connection;fourth,privacy concern has an important mediating role for privacy management.Based on the above studies,this paper proposes to improve social media privacy protection technology,create a good privacy protection environment and enhance users’ privacy concern awareness to improve users’ privacy management,hoping to promote users’ privacy protection.
