Abstract/Summary:
In the era of software-defined intelligent manufacturing,along with the digital transformation of industrial enterprises,more and more process data are being recorded.These data,processed and integrated by the Process Data Engine,act as a significant driving force for business operations such as production monitoring,quality analysis,and equipment management.The Process Data Engine needs to provide different types or structures of data to meet various business needs of enterprises,which brings enor mous challenges to the business support capability of the Process Data Engine.When the Process Data Engine drives complex and changeable business processes with data,problems such as limited business expansion capability,insufficient operational stability,and significant delay in the transmission of the latest data can arise due to the complexity of data acquisition,diverse data request formats,and tight coupling of data and business.This paper builds upon previous research on Process Data Engine and proposes the addition of events as a new end-to-end response mechanism in the Process Data Engine and designs and implements an Event Management Layer as a new hierarchical structure of the Process Data Engine.It decouples data and business with business events generated by the built-in rule engine of the Process Data Engine,combined with the event-driven architecture and management of the entire lifecycle of events,thus improving the support capability of the Process Data Engine for different business systems.The introduction of event response mechanism and Event Management Layer has advantages such as rapid response,high flexibility,high scalability,and asynchronous processing.The main work of this paper is as follows:1,Analyzed the existing hierarchical structure and end-to-end response status of the Process Data Engine and studied the deficiencies of the Process Data Engine in supporting business systems through experiments.Through analyzing the existing problems,it proposes a solution of adding events as a new end-to-end response mechanism and adding an Event Management Layer as a new hierarchical structure.2,Analyzed the requirements for the newly added Event Management Layer,combined with the application background and required capabilit ies,analyzed the functional and non-functional requirements of event management,and confirmed the improvements to the Process Data Engine and the technical selection of the Event Management Layer through studying related theories and technologies.3,Designed the events and Event Management Layer,combined with the generation of events and the information contained in the events,designed a unified description method for events,confirmed the overall architecture,module structure,and event flow direction through the overall design of the Event Management Layer,and conducted detailed design based on the workflow of each function module.4,Implemented the Event Management Layer according to the overall design and detailed design of the function modules of the Event Management Layer,tested the Event Management Layer,tested the Event Management Layer in terms of function and performance to meet the requirements,and finally concluded that there are advantages in terms of throughput,update speed,reliability,and scalability by applying the Event Management Layer.
