| Hardware non ideality brings huge performance losses to millimeter wave communication systems,so researchers around the world have conducted extensive and long-term research on models and compensation algorithms for hardware non ideality,and phase noise is an important component of hardware non ideality.This article models millimeter wave phase noise in the Single Carrier Frequency Domain Equalization(SCFDE)system,and based on previous research on phase noise compensation algorithms,attempts to optimize the phase noise compensation algorithm and find a compensation algorithm with better system performance.This article first elaborates on the background of millimeter wave communication,as well as the research status of phase noise models and phase noise compensation algorithms both domestically and internationally.Subsequently,the millimeter wave communication system,millimeter wave channel,and phase noise were modeled,and theoretical derivation and simulation analysis were conducted on how phase noise affects the millimeter wave communication system.Efforts were made to find better non iterative and iterative compensation algorithms for estimating and compensating phase noise.The main work is as follows:1.Study the phase noise models in different communication standards,and based on this,simulate the "single pole/zero" phase noise model in the simulation.At the same time,theoretical derivation and simulation analysis were also conducted on the Wiener noise model used in a large number of literature.2.For the non iterative algorithm of phase noise,the classical compensation algorithm based on the averaging of common phase error(CPE)and linear interpolation is theoretically deduced.With the help of the correlation between "single pole/zero" phase noise points,a compensation algorithm based on the minimum mean square error(MMSE)interpolation of CPE is proposed.And theoretically compare and simulate the three algorithms mentioned above.3.For the iterative compensation algorithm for phase noise,first,the classic iterative Least Mean Square(LMS)compensation algorithm based on decision feedback is studied.On this basis,a decision feedback iterative Recursive Least Square(RLS)compensation algorithm is proposed,The two iterative compensation algorithms can not only compensate for CPE but also compensate for Inter Symbol Interference(ISI),and perform iterative derivation one by one.Finally,simulation analysis was conducted on the above two algorithms.Finally,simulation results show that the proposed CPE based MMSE interpolation compensation algorithm has better system performance,while the decision feedback iterative RLS compensation algorithm can achieve faster convergence of the algorithm without losing system error performance,and has better system error performance when the modulation method is Quadrature Amplitude Modulation(QAM). |
