Research On Equity Incentive Plan And Implementation Effect Of Semiconductor Industry Enterprises

In the last century,American scholars in order to alleviate the conflicts between owners and operators caused by the separation of management right and management right,equity incentives began to prevail,successively in Japan,France,England and other countries,our country began to introduce equity incentives in the early 1990 s,now Wuhan,Beijing and other places carry out pilot work,as the implementation of joint-stock system reform,More enterprises began to try equity incentive,after a series of policy reforms and pilot work and the introduction of relevant laws,a large number of enterprises have applied equity incentive to daily management.With the development of Chinese economy,high and new technology enterprises have become an important force in our economic transformation and development.The semiconductor industry is the top priority of the high and new technology industry in China.The semiconductor industry is the pillar of the electronic information industry and belongs to the strategic basic industry.The semiconductor industry is characterized by high investment.The basic investment and research accumulation from semiconductor research and development to commercialization to gain profits cost many years,which requires the reserve of professional talents,professional technical equipment and strict production environment.In addition,the development of the semiconductor industry depends on the progress of technology and the generation of new products.According to the characteristics of the industry,semiconductor companies will usually implement equity incentives when they go public.In general,they will adhere to the combination of key incentives and universal incentives.Different incentive methods are combined to improve the enthusiasm of employees,improve the innovation ability,retain the existing employees and attract new employees,and create more value for the development of the enterprise.First of all,this paper firstly combs the research results of domestic and foreign scholars on equity incentive,clarifies relevant concepts,and then introduces the characteristics of the semiconductor industry and the motivation for implementing equity incentive,and explores the status quo of the implementation of equity incentive within the semiconductor industry through the number of announcements on equity incentive and the selection of various incentive elements.Secondly,through the comparative analysis of the 9 equity incentive implementation plans of the selected case Shenzhen Goodix Technology Co.,ltd,the intensity of the implementation of the equity incentive,the object of the equity incentive,the choice of the form of the equity incentive and the choice of the unlocking conditions are analyzed.It is found that the company’s assessment indicators are constantly improving the equity incentive program in the process of continuous improvement.Then,the impact of equity incentives on the company was analyzed,and the non-financial indicators focused on the analysis of employee turnover rate,employee composition,the number of R&D outputs and key technology breakthroughs,and in terms of financial indicators,through the analysis of four major capabilities,it was determined that equity incentives can bring positive effects to the enterprise,and through the fluctuation of stock prices,what kind of impact equity incentives have on the market.Finally,combining with this case,it is proposed that equity incentive can effectively improve the financial and non-financial performance of semiconductor industry.At the same time for the semiconductor industry enterprises,equity incentive should be based on the actual situation of each company to establish a reasonable assessment mechanism,choose the appropriate incentive elements and other aspects of the suggestions.At present,China is vigorously developing the semiconductor industry.Shenzhen Goodix Technology Co.,ltd has the typical characteristics of companies in the semiconductor industry.The company’s profit depends on the research and development of new products and the market of new products.
