The rapid development of the Internet has catalyzed the prosperity of social media,followed by the instant sharing and widespread dissemination of massive social images.While bringing a lot of convenience and fun to people’s lives,sharing life photos anytime and anywhere also makes the problem of privacy leakage increasingly serious.Many scholars have conducted research on image privacy protection,but there is still room for improvement in privacy area selection and protection methods.Therefore,this paper has carried out a series of studies from the above aspects.The main innovations are as follows:(1)This paper proposes an automatic calibration algorithm for privacy area that merges and expands the face detection area.Based on the principle of locality,the adjacent face detection areas are merged,the privacy area of the image is reasonably expanded,and the face coverage of the privacy area is improved.The idea of depth-first search is used to connect adjacent face regions into one component.Considering that the subsequent encryption requires the same amount of data in plaintext and ciphertext,the connected components that have overlapping areas are combined cyclically until all connected components do not have overlapping areas.(2)This article chooses encryption as a protection method.The pseudo-random image after encryption has high security,and the original image can be obtained after decryption.An image scrambling and diffusion algorithm based on Logistic-Sine-Cosine mapping is proposed.The algorithm scrambles the image pixel row,column,channel position,diffuses and changes the image pixel gray value.This algorithm makes the possibility of each pixel in a color image scrambled to any position equal,and it is sensitive to small changes in any gray value in the image.And the use of two rounds of scrambling and diffusion operations effectively ensures the confusion and diffusion of the algorithm.(3)This paper proposes a JPEG image protection algorithm,which uses a data encryption algorithm to directly encrypt the JPEG bit stream,which not only retains the high compression ratio of the JPEG standard,but also protects the image data.It combines XTS working mode,adjustable block cipher and HMAC algorithm.It takes SM3 hash cipher algorithm and SM4 block cipher algorithm as the core to efficiently and quickly protect the confidentiality and integrity of image data.This article uses and innovates the existing achievements of image privacy protection.The proposed algorithm for automatic calibration of the privacy area has been verified to improve the face coverage of the privacy area.A lot of security analysis shows that the designed image privacy area encryption algorithm has good confusion and diffusion.The proposed JPEG protection algorithm can safely and quickly protect image data.
