Research on the design of campus takeout system based on self-pickup cabinets is receiving extensive attention during the spread of the epidemic.This dissertation aims to study an optimal location-allocation problem of campus takeout self-pickup cabinets in terms of cost minimization model and profit maximization model.The main contributions of this research are stated as follows:First,two new optimization models for the location-allocation problem of campus takeout self-pickup cabinets are constructed,namely the cost minimization model and the profit maximization model with changing demand.Different from the traditional location models of self-pickup cabinets,the new models proposed in this paper are not only involved with the location decision of the self-pickup cabinets,but also the capacity type selection and the allocation of consumer subgroups;demand function is affected by customer loyalty.Second,based on the properties analysis of the models,algorithms for solving the models are developed.For the cost minimization model,a linearization method based on the outer approximation cutting plane(L-OA)and an improved heuristic neighborhood search algorithm(IHNS)are developed.The L-OA method,combined with the linearization method and the outer approximation cutting plane method,can greatly reduce the complexity of solving the integer non-linear model,while the IHNS algorithm mixes the neighborhood search algorithm and the genetic algorithm,which can increase the accuracy of the neighborhood search.Finally,through case studies and sensitivity analysis,the rationality and application value of the models are confirmed,and the conclusions with guiding significance for management practice are revealed: The selection of the optimal location and capacity of the self-pickup cabinet plays a crucial role in the campus takeout self-pickup cabinet service system.The optimal selection of self-pickup cabinet installation location and capacity type strictly depends on the demand distribution of consumer subgroups,which is conducive to the stability of operating costs in the system.Managers should take effective measures to reduce other costs except operating costs.In the face of differences of sensitivity coefficients among the consumer subgroups,the appropriate self-pickup cabinets installation strategy should be formulated,which is beneficial to control the costs or improve profitability of service system.From the perspective of profit maximization,the self-pickup service system is more suitable for high-quality takeout with higher sales prices.
