As optical transport network develops rapidly, the conception that fiber transmission is absolute security has changed. The frequent opticalsignal eavesdropping incidents not only caused high economic losses, but also exposed huge security issues on the physical layer of optical transport networks. The requirement of implementation physical-layer protection is put forward for optical networks. In recent years, many experts and scholars have continuously explored the physical-layer encryption technology, and the endogenous-secure optical communication technology has been proposed. It can secure optical signal transmission based on the channel’s inherent characteristics, which effectively improves reliability and security. At the same time, the application of the endogenous-secure optical communication technology introduces a new capability to the optical network-security.Therefore,how to efficiently map services to the optical network that deployed endogenous-secure optical communication technology is still a problem to be solved.Accordingly, driven by security transmission requirements, this thesis explores the service mapping problem in endogenous-secure optical transport networks, aiming to improve the security network capacity.First,by exploring security capabilities of optical channels,a security-based lightpath layered architecture is proposed. Then,a linear programming model is constructed to solve the service mapping problem.Third,a security-aware service mapping algorithm is also designed to improve efficiency when outputting mapping solutions.Specifically, the main innovation work of this thesis is summarized as follows:(1)A security-based lightpath layered architecture is proposed.By quantifying the lightpath security, the capability of secure transmission can be uniformly expressed. Then,an endogenous secure optical network model with security attributes is established, which lays the foundation for subsequent research;(2)A service-mapping linear programming model is constructed. The simulation results show that the successful mapping rate reaches 98.8%,which effectively improves the network capacity and throughput, and satisfies the services’ secure transmission requirements;(3)A security-aware service mapping algorithm that considers transmission bandwidth and path security is proposed. The simulation results show that the successful mapping rate can reach up to 98.3%,which is less different from the linear programming model, and effectively improves the solution efficiency.
