| Owing to the continual movement of terminals and scatterers,it is challenging to conduct channel modeling in a large indoor venue that covers a broad geographical area.The National Speed Skating Stadium,as a landmark venue in 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics,is a typical irregular indoor communication scenario.However,the existing regular channel model is no longer applicable to such irregular scenarios.Therefore,it is of significance to carry out relevant research on indoor communication scenarios based on irregular geometry.First,a three-dimensional(3D)Irregular-Shaped Geometry Based Stochastic Model(IS-GBSM)based on a multi-confocal truncated semiellipsoid plus rectangle is proposed to model the scattering environment for the irregular channel model of the studied scene.Furthermore,the geometric relationship is analyzed considering the blocking effect of moving obstacles on the signal,and the parameters related to the model are determined to derive the corresponding deterministic simulation model.Based on the simulation model,the effects of factors such as the truncation angle of the multi-confocal truncated semi-ellipsoidal model on the key statistical properties of the channel are investigated.The consistency of theoretical and simulation results shows that the model effectively portrays the scattering environment of irregular indoor scenes,better describes the influence of obstacles on indoor communication,it can provide reference for irregular indoor channel modeling.Second,regarding poor communication quality due to the movement of obstacles,the extra Line-of-Sight(LOS)link can be constructed by introducing Intelligent Reflecting Surface(IRS),improve the quality of communication to a great extent.Therefore,an IS-GBSM channel model incorporating Intelligent Reflecting Surface(IRS)is proposed.By modeling IRS elements as virtual scatterers and selecting suitable deployment locations,the power transmission capability is investigated,in which an end-to-end IRS-based channel model is constructed,with important channel statistical characteristics being investigated in depth.In addition,based on the simulation model,the effect of IRS deployment location,Rician factor and other environmental parameters on the channel quality is investigated.The simulation results show that the IRS-based channel model proposed in this paper can effectively depict the effect of IRS on channel quality,which is important for the studied communication scenarios. |
