Abstract/Summary:
With the exponential growth trend of network services in recent years and the increasingly complex network environment,the existing IP network routing and forwarding architecture has a single forwarding mode and the routing methods of "topology-based static routing" or"program-based traffic engineering" do not fully consider the changes in real-time network status.It cannot solve the problem of client-to-end fine-grained QoS guarantee in complex and dynamic network environment.Therefore,this paper innovatively constructs a network packet intelligent routing and forwarding architecture based on SR and an active routing algorithm adapted to this architecture.Based on the basic forwarding capability of SR and the active thought,the routing and forwarding architecture enables the SR header node to encapsulate the fine-grained intention of users and the active routing algorithm into the SR network packet to form an intelligent routing and forwarding strategy.Network packets and streams carry intelligent route forwarding policies along the route,proactively perceive SR compute node performance and link performance,and make intelligent decisions based on carrying intention requirements.Thus,manual intervention and configuration based on experience are simplified,and end-to-end fine-grained QoS routing guarantee is provided for network users.In order to verify the feasibility of SR-based network packet intelligent routing and forwarding architecture and active routing algorithm,this paper constructs an intelligent routing and forwarding prototype system based on SR.By constructing the SR basic forwarding platform and using the technology of network function virtualization,the prototype system deploits the SR routing and forwarding device on the common computing platform and entrusts the SR node with the real-time sensing of the network state and the ability to provide active routing calculation for the network flow.Firstly,this paper investigates and analyzes the working mode of existing network routing and forwarding architecture such as traditional distributed network,SDN and SR network,as well as the specific technologies used in prototype system such as VPP and shared memory.Next,this paper studies and designs the proposed network packet intelligent routing and forwarding architecture based on SR.Then,this paper introduces the research of active route calculation algorithm based on the network architecture.Then this paper designs and implements the main functions of the prototype system by software engineering method.Finally,this paper verifies the feasibility of the intelligent routing and forwarding architecture and algorithm based on SR through specific system tests.
