Research On Paper Evaluation Mechanism Based On Citation Networ

Accurate and reasonable evaluation of scientific research is the premise to objectively evaluate the academic contribution of researchers,and also an important guarantee to promote the virtuous circle and development of academic circles.On the one hand,the effective evaluation of scientific research papers can mobilize the enthusiasm of researchers,on the other hand,it can provide some help for researchers and provide further guidance for the future research trend.Therefore,it is of great significance to design a reasonable paper evaluation method.Among them,judging the academic status of academic papers by the number of citations is the most common way to evaluate academic papers.However,the index system of the number of citations ignores the gap between cited academic papers,thus missing part of the information related to the importance of academic papers.Therefore,this paper explores and studies the evaluation mechanism of academic papers based on paper citation network and web link algorithm.(1)Firstly,the algorithm of HITS is improved.On the basis of HITS algorithm,the weight coefficient is added and the weighted HITS algorithm is proposed.Then on the basis of citation analysis,the concept of weighted similarity between papers is proposed,and the R-HITS algorithm is combined with HITS algorithm.Finally,the paper Authority value of weighted HITS algorithm and R-HITS algorithm,the paper Authority value of HITS algorithm and paper citation times are compared,and the differences,advantages and disadvantages of the three evaluation methods used in paper evaluation are discussed.The results show that the weighted HITS algorithm and THE R-HITS algorithm can greatly reduce the TKC(tight-knit Community Effect)Effect of the HITS algorithm,and the weighted HITS algorithm can evaluate the quality of academic papers more accurately than the R-HITS algorithm.The weighted HITS algorithm and R-HITS algorithm take into account not only the number of cited papers but also the quality of cited papers.Compared with the number of cited papers,the weighted HITS algorithm and R-HITS algorithm can more comprehensively evaluate the academic influence of a paper.(2)Considering the direct citation and indirect citation of the paper,the prestige coefficient is proposed,which reflects the quality of the cited paper relative to the cited paper,and solves the problem that the number of cited papers does not consider the quality of the paper.W-pagerank algorithm is improved on the basis of Page Rank algorithm.The experimental results show that there is a high correlation between the number of cited papers and the PR value,which is not only related to the number of cited papers,but also related to the quality of cited papers.The more times a paper is cited by high-quality papers,the higher the PR value of the paper is.
