At present,China’s digital economy is developing by leaps and bounds,giving entity enterprises the power to improve efficiency and supply quality,and becoming a new driving force for high-quality economic development.Under the great wave of the digital economy,digital technologies such as mobile Internet,artificial intelligence,big data,and cloud computing are developing rapidly.The new round of digital reform is coming with the representative characteristics of "digital + cloud + intelligence",which has unprecedented and subversive impact on enterprises.The strategy of digital transformation is widely carried out in various large enterprises.Enterprises pour huge amounts of capital and massive knowledge capital to implement digital informatization reform on business system and management platform.As an important path of sustainable development,innovation is conducive to improving the efficiency of enterprise management and market share,and is also a new driving force for economic growth.But there are few studies on the impact of digital transformation on the innovation ability of enterprises and there is no consensus.Some scholars believe that the application of digital technology has changed the ability of enterprises to reorganize and transfer knowledge,prompting enterprises to change the traditional production organization method,which is conducive to innovation.The flow of resources,however,there is also a controversy over the "digital paradox" in academia.Whether digital transformation can truly enhance the innovation capability of enterprises remains to be explored,and the existing impact paths remain to be deeply explored.Therefore,in the context of the deepening of digital transformation,this thesis discusses whether digital transformation can bring incentive effect to the whole process of enterprise innovation from the micro level,and studies the possible influence path,which provides certain theoretical value and practical significance for enterprise digital development.This thesis comprehensively applies literature and empirical research methods,incorporates information asymmetry,principal-agent theory and dynamic capability theory into the theoretical framework,and selects China’s A-share listed companies from 2007 to 2020 as samples to test the role of digital transformation in the process of enterprise innovation under the background of digital economy.We also examine the mediating role of internal control and external financing constraints on this process.Research shows that the degree of digital transformation has a significant positive correlation with the innovation input intensity,output level and innovation efficiency of enterprises.Financing constraints and internal control can act as part of the intermediary of this influencing process,that is,digital transformation can promote the whole process of enterprise innovation by reducing financing constraints for innovation activities and improving the quality of internal control.This thesis integrates digital transformation,financing constraints and internal control,and enterprise innovation into the same model to study,to provide theoretical support for improving the efficiency of enterprise digital transformation and empowering the whole process of enterprise innovation,and also for the country how to develop the digital economy to achieve innovationdriven development.strategy for reference.The inspiration and suggestions are as follows: First,enterprises should grasp the development direction of the times and continue to deepen digital transformation.Second,at the moment of promoting digital transformation,the government should improve the relevant asset evaluation system and establish a system-wide financing system.At the same time,enterprises attach importance to the construction of internal control systems in the process of digital development,ensure the consistency of transformation tasks and strategies,and be alert to digital paradoxes.Third,the country should steadily promote the development of the digital economy,expand the coverage of digital economy services,and promote the equalization of the development level of digital technology. |
