This is an era of visual information,where constructing and presenting the information of the entire society is mainly composed of visual images.Visual information is a cross sensory form of information that achieves media fusion.Especially with the development of mobile networks,various forms of video information dissemination have emerged,mainly including online live streaming,short videos,and self-made online dramas.As a domestic popular online video platform B starting from the anime subculture community platform,through various videos,users have grown rapidly,market share has increased,and revenue has doubled.This study first conducted a preliminary questionnaire survey and analysis on the use of B station by Inner Mongolia university students.Combining in-depth interview and case analysis methods,the study explored the usage habits,frequency,purpose,and impact of B station on Inner Mongolia university students,as well as suggestions.This study mainly consists of an introduction,main text,and conclusion.The introduction mainly discusses the research background,significance,purpose,significance,related concepts,research methods,theoretical basis,and current research status.In the first chapter,the development history and characteristics of Bilibili were mainly introduced,and the impact of popular short video platforms on college students was analyzed.In Chapter 2,a detailed survey and analysis were conducted on the use of Bilibili by students in Inner Mongolia universities using questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews.I have gained an understanding of students’ habits,frequency,purpose,and impact of using Bilibili.And through in-depth interviews with 20 Inner Mongolia university students,we learned about the students’ evaluation and attitude towards using Bilibili,as well as the impact on the physical and mental health and learning of Bilibili university students.In Chapter 3,the positive effects of Bilibili on learning efficiency,subject interest,extracurricular life,communication ability,self-awareness,self-expression,and other aspects of Inner Mongolia university students were explored,as well as the negative effects of wasting time,reducing grades,and causing poor mental state and physical health damage.In Chapter 4,suggestions are proposed to strengthen publicity and guidance,optimize the content of Bilibili,improve regulatory mechanisms,develop scientific usage plans,and pay attention to physical health for Inner Mongolia university students to better use Bilibili.Chapter 5 is a summary of the usage of Inner Mongolia University Student B Station and a prospect for the healthy use of online communication platforms by university students.This study delves into the use of Bilibili by Inner Mongolia university students,analyzes the impact of Bilibili usage by university students,and puts forward some relevant suggestions.It is hoped that Inner Mongolia university students can better use Bilibili,combine work and rest,pay attention to themselves while receiving visual information,and avoid becoming addicted to it.
