High school education emphasizes teaching that keeps up with the times and focuses on cultivating students’ thinking abilities.Inspired by this,"problem chain teaching" has received widespread attention and research.Trigonometric function is a kind of basic elementary function,which is the key content of high school mathematics.This article selects part of the content of high school trigonometric functions to study the teaching design and practice of "problem chain" in high school mathematics.This article mainly explores the following aspects: firstly,conducting a questionnaire survey on students to understand the current situation of their trigonometric function learning.The data shows that students have some difficulties in learning trigonometric functions.The first is to understand the current situation of problem chain teaching design.Through a questionnaire survey of teachers,understand their attitudes towards problem chain teaching design.Through data,it has been proven that teachers attach great importance to problem chain teaching.Understand the current situation of trigonometric function teaching and the difficulties in problem chain teaching design through teacher interviews.Proved the necessity of using the high school trigonometric function chapter as an example to study classroom problem chain teaching.Secondly,by watching high school mathematics videos on the national smart education platform for primary and secondary schools,analyzing the problems raised by the teachers,and reading the relevant theories proposed by teachers Zhang Jianyue,Tang Weizhong,and Cao Guangfu,the principles of problem chain design(step-by-step principle,heuristic principle,recent development principle,and force based principle)and the key points of problem chain design(mathematical correlation,mathematical thinking)are summarized.Designed a teaching case for the concept course of trigonometric functions,clarified the concepts of core problems and sub problems,and derived the design process of problem chain teaching.Thirdly,the teaching design and practice of trigonometric function concept courses and induction formula courses based on problem chains.The fourth is to test and analyze the teaching effectiveness.Through the performance tests of two classes(one is the experimental class and the other is the control class),it is shown that problem chain teaching is beneficial for students to improve their grades in the concept and property classes of functions.Through a questionnaire survey of the experimental class,it was found that problem chain teaching is beneficial for inspiring students’ thinking,helping them focus in class,and helping them master mathematical thinking methods.
