Students are the talent base of the country,the fundamental driving force for the development of productive forces and the main force of national construction.Students’ physical health is directly related to the future and destiny of the country and reflects a country’s comprehensive national strength.Therefore,it is particularly important to provide healthy human resources for national construction.Physical health is a dynamic concept in different times,The level of physical health in different regions is different,and the factors affecting physical changes in different times and regions are also different.Under the background of different times,people’s physique is different.Research objective: in recent decades,local students have been tested for physical health all over the country.The detection rate of obesity is increasing,and the quality of speed,endurance and strength is declining.The incidence of various chronic diseases is also generally increasing among senior high school students.Senior high school students are in a critical period of learning cultural knowledge,and they have more static activity time,The pressure of entering a higher school eventually leads to a serious decline in their physical health level.Physical exercise plays an important role in physical health.It can improve the physical health status of senior high school students and prevent various chronic diseases.This study investigates the current situation of after-school physical exercise behavior and physical health status of senior high school students in Jishou City,It also analyzes the influencing factors of after-school physical exercise behavior and physical health status of senior high school students in Jishou City,and the correlation between after-school physical exercise behavior and physical health status,and then puts forward targeted suggestions to guide senior high school students to carry out physical exercise to improve their physical health status.Research methods: This study uses questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics and other research methods,uses physical exercise behavior questionnaire to investigate high school students in Jishou City,inquires students’ physical health network,understands high school students’ physical exercise behavior and physical health status,and analyzes the related relationship between the factors affecting students’ after-school physical exercise and physical health.Results: the physical health status of senior high school students in Jishou City is mainly reflected in the dimensions of body shape,individual function,speed,explosive power,flexibility,endurance,strength quality and comprehensive physique.In the dimension of body shape,the proportion of thin and obese in the third grade of high school is the highest,and the proportion of overweight in the second grade of high school is the highest.In the dimension of individual function,there is a highly significant difference in vital capacity between boys in grade one and grade three,and there is a highly significant difference between grade two and grade three;There is a significant difference in vital capacity between girls in grade one and grade two,and there is a significant difference between grade two and grade three.In the dimension of speed quality,the 50 m speed of boys in grade three is significantly faster than that of grade one and grade two,and there is a significant difference between girls in grade three and grade two.In the dimension of explosive quality,there is a significant difference between the third grade of boys and the second grade of senior high school,and there is no significant difference among girls.In the dimension of flexibility quality,there is no significant difference between male and female students in each grade,but the floating range is large.In the dimension of endurance quality,there are significant differences between male and female students in all grades.In terms of strength quality,with the increase of grade,the number of pull ups of boys increases slightly,but not significantly.The third grade of girls’ one minute sit ups in senior high school decreases significantly compared with the first grade and the second grade of senior high school,which has a certain relationship with learning tension.In the dimension of comprehensive physique,the grades of boys are senior high school first grade and senior high school second grade,senior high school second grade and senior high school third grade,There are significant differences.The second grade of senior high school mainly focuses on the passing grade,and the grade difference of girls is not significant.There are significant differences between grade 1 and grade 2 of senior high school,grade 2 and grade 3 of senior high school.Conclusion:the motivation of high school students in Jishou City to participate in extracurricular physical exercise is mainly to entertain their body and mind and enhance their physique.The projects are mainly walking,running,basketball and badminton.The places are mainly sports venues and public stadiums.The form is mainly to exercise alone with classmates and friends.The time is mainly between 11-20 minutes,The frequency is mainly 2 times a week or less on average,and the intensity is mainly small intensity and medium intensity;The main factors affecting the physical exercise of senior high school students in Jishou City are tense learning,no time to exercise and lack of partners to exercise together.In the physical health status and after-school physical exercise behavior of senior high school students in Jishou City,Pearson correlation analysis was carried out between exercise time,exercise frequency and exercise intensity and body shape,individual function,speed,explosive power,flexibility,endurance,strength quality and comprehensive physique.The results showed that exercise time,exercise frequency and exercise intensity could be related to speed,In addition,exercise time is also positively correlated with flexibility,and exercise frequency is also positively correlated with individual function.Good physical exercise behavior can improve students’ health.
