Social media is playing a more and more important role in people’s Internet life,and in the past decade,domestic social media has also undergone a revolutionary change.As a generation growing up with Chinese social media,young Chinese users have become a force to be reckoned with in the development of mobile Internet platforms,and they are constantly "moving" or "switching" among various types of social media platforms.They are constantly "moving" or "switching" among various types of social media platforms.This study focuses on the relationship between social media platforms and young users.With the help of the "push-pull-anchoring" model of population migration research,this study explores the behavior,motivation and influence of young social media users’ migration behavior under the current media environment.Through questionnaires,participatory surveys,and in-depth interviews,we investigated the specific forms of migration behavior,depicted the specific paths of young users’ migration behavior,and analyzed the relationship between "location migration" and "attention migration." That is,"attention migration is a prerequisite for"location migration,"but not all" attention migration "will develop into" location migration.".The relationship between the two is always dynamic during the entire migration process.Through this research,we hope to help young users correctly handle online interpersonal relationships,resist the negative impact of social media migration,and provide intellectual support to social media operators in product functional design. |
