| Objective : Resilience is an adaptive psychological structure that helps adolescents withstand injury and recover quickly from setbacks.Scholars generally believe that leisure behavior is a way to improve resilience.It is of great significance to study the relationship between leisure,especially active leisure and resilience.In addition,people also pursue leisure experiences of relaxation and comfort.Therefore,in order to explore the impact of leisure on adolescents’ mental health,it is necessary to study their leisure experience.Self-efficacy is an important factor influencing resilience as well.Besides,leisure behavior and experience can affect the levels of self-efficacy.Based on the above considerations,this paper aims to explore the relationship among leisure behavior,leisure experience,self-efficacy,and resilience.Methods: This research adopted leisure behavior scale,leisure experience battery for adolescents,general self-efficacy scale,and adolescent resilience scale.The participants included 700 middle school students.SPSS 23.0 and Amos 26.0 were used for analysis.Results:Firstly,there were significant differences in active leisure behavior,self-efficacy,and resilience among middle school students of different genders.There were significant differences in active leisure behavior and resilience among school students of different studying phases.There were significant differences in active leisure behavior,leisure experience,self-efficacy,and resilience among students with different family economic conditions.Secondly,active leisure behavior was positively correlated with leisure experience,self-efficacy,and resilience.Leisure experience was positively correlated with self-efficacy and resilience.There was a significant positive correlation between self-efficacy and resilience.Thirdly,active leisure behavior indirectly affected resilience through the mediating effect of leisure experience.Active leisure behavior indirectly affected resilience through the mediating effect of self-efficacy.Finally,active leisure behavior indirectly affected resilience through the chain mediating effect of leisure experience → self-efficacy.Conclusion: Active leisure behavior of middle school students is a development environment,and the accompanying positive perceived experience can improve the levels of self-efficacy and resilience.Suggestion: Educators should pay attention to the psychological benefits that active leisure brings to young people,and carry out extensive leisure education. |
