In recent years,people from all walks of life have begun to pay attention to the problem of teachers’ occupational happiness.Compared with urban and rural teachers,the junior middle school teachers in the rural-urban fringe have special characteristics in the quality of students,school education funds,living environment and other aspects,and there are relatively few studies on the occupational happiness of this group of teachers.Therefore,this study hopes to analyze the influencing factors and find out improvement measures by studying the current situation of occupational happiness of middle school teachers in the rural-urban boundary,so as to contribute to the improvement of national education quality and the realization of the goal of balanced development of education quality.In this study,321 teachers from two middle schools in J District of Qingdao were selected as the research objects.Data information was obtained in the form of questionnaire survey and interview,and the data was analyzed by SPSS software.The results showed that:(1)The occupational happiness of teachers in this school was at the middle and lower level.(2)Among the five dimensions of social support,work environment,teacher-student relationship,professional development,and salary,teachers in the rural-urban fringe middle school have the highest sense of well-being in the dimension of teacher-student relationship,and the lowest sense of well-being in the dimension of professional development and social support.(3)There is no significant difference between teachers’ happiness and teaching subject,teaching grade,gender and marital status,but there is a significant difference between teachers’ happiness and age,education background,teaching age,professional title,weekly hours,income and position.In view of the current situation,this study analyzes the influencing factors from both subjective and objective aspects,and summarizes the main reasons for the career happiness of middle school teachers in the urban-rural fringe.Then,this study divided all the influencing factors into four aspects: personal health,professional development,material security and social support,accounting for 30.7%,13.2%,36% and 20.1% of all influencing factors respectively.Finally,based on the theory of positive psychology,this study proposes promotion strategies according to the importance of four factors from high to low.This study suggests: in the aspect of strengthening material security,we should increase the investment of funds and improve the salary of teachers;Improve teaching conditions and create a good working environment;Develop channels of raising funds for education and establish funds for school development.In terms of maintaining personal health,teachers should have a balanced diet and exercise to keep healthy.Establish harmonious and harmonious interpersonal relationship;Awaken positive emotions,have a sense of mental health self-maintenance.At the level of improving social support,we should seek support from relatives and balance family relations.Improve policies and regulations to meet reasonable needs and protect legitimate rights and interests;Establish reasonable expectations and create a free,harmonious and just social environment.In the aspect of promoting professional development,theoretical learning should be strengthened to improve teachers’ professional skills.Establish a fair and reasonable teacher management and evaluation system;Advocate teacher participation in management,enhance happiness. |
