| In this paper,the accurate calculation of phase center of phased array antenna is studied,a definition of phase center stability is proposed,and its characteristics are studied.At present,with the deepening of research,people’s requirements for antenna indicators are not limited to conventional parameters such as gain,bandwidth,isolation,etc.,but also began to research new requirements generated in applications.The research of phased array antenna’s phase center is becoming more and more abundant,and this paper is born out of the demand for phase characteristics of some high-precision antennas.The main work of this paper is divided into the following five parts:1.The common methods for calibrating or calculating the antenna phase center are summarized,The Moving Reference Point Method can intuitively mark the phase center,but the workload is large,and the result error is large;the Key Point Method can quickly calibrate the phase center,but only a few points are taken into account;for the phased array antenna with large physical size and diverse working modes,the Least Squares Method is required to use the curve fitting.The Analog Annealing Algorithm and the Phase Gradient Method are more limited.2.The relationship between the phase center relative coordinate and the phase direction function of the phased array antenna is established,and the relationship between the far-field phase direction function is extracted through mathematical analysis based on the expression of the far-area radiation field of the array antenna,and finally the relationship between the relative coordinates of the phase center is derived.3.The solution method of phase center and the definition and solution of phase center stability are given.The phase center studied in this paper is actually at the center of the phase,and the curve fitting method is used to solve the phase center coordinates.In addition,after summarizing the work results of the predecessors,after their own analysis,they improved the definition and calculation of a more reasonable phase center stability,so that it can better reflect the phase center stability of the entire angular domain,and wrote related programs.4.The phase center stability of the phased array antenna was studied.The changes in the stability of the phase center of the phased array antenna in different working states and modes are studied,and some key conclusions are drawn,and the actual engineering is guided accordingly.5.The error sources and compensation methods of phase measurement of phased array antennas are summarized.Phase is a high-precision quantity,equipment accuracy,random error and operating specifications will have a greater impact on it,for some common errors summarized compensation or subtraction methods. |
