| China’s higher education has entered a period of universal development.Faced with the development and changes of population structure, the intensified competition among students and the adjustment of national financial investment policy, higher education urgently needs to shift from high dependence on resources to efficiency improvement. The development of higher education in Zhejiang province is more worthy of attention because of its developed economic status. From the current development of higher education in Zhejiang province, the overall number of colleges is small, and the overall level of running schools in colleges is low.The development of higher education needs to evaluate its performance, and a reasonable capital expenditure structure can make colleges spend more money on teaching and scientific research, thus improving their performance in a short time. Therefore, exploring the influence of educational expenditure structure on the performance of Zhejiang provincial colleges is conducive to propelling the shift of Zhejiang provincial colleges from the entensive formula of development focusing on expanding the scale and level of running schools to the connotative development mode focusing on improving the efficiency of running schools, which has certain academic value and practical guiding significance for improving the performance of colleges, and the improvement of its development mode can provide experience reference for other local colleges in China.Based on the above research background, this paper analyzes the characteristics of educational expenditure structure of Zhejiang provincial colleges and its influence on college performance by combining normative analysis and empirical analysis.First of all,it combs the core concepts and theoretical basis of this paper, summarizes and systematically analyzes the current situation, problems and development trends of domestic and foreign research on education expenditure and performance, and lays the theoretical foundation for selecting variables and putting forward assumptions;Secondly, the evaluation system of college performance index is constructed, and the index system is evaluated by factor analysis, and the calculated comprehensive score is the measurement index of the performance in this research; Then, the bidirectional fixed effect model is established to test the influence of the expenditure structure of provincial colleges on performance, and on this basis,a dual investment strategy is introduced to optimize the expenditure structure of colleges. Finally,in order to ensure the validity of the research results, the robustness of the above regression analysis is tested. The results show that the proportion of personnel funds, public funds and teaching funds is positively related to the performance of colleges; The proportion of scientific research expenditure has no significant influence on the performance of colleges; The project expenditure ratio has a great adverse effect on the performance of colleges; After quoting the dual investment strategy to equilibrate and associate the expenditure ratio of personnel and project, the performance of education expenditure in colleges has been improved to some extent. This study theoretically discusses the relationship between the structure and performance of educational expenditure in colleges, and through empirical analysis, puts forward some suggestions for optimizing the structure of educational expenditure in colleges, thus further perfecting the theoretical system of educational expenditure research in colleges, and also has certain reference significance for the management of educational expenditure in colleges in Zhejiang Province. |
