Teachers are the most dynamic educational resource in the entire education system,and they are also the fundamental guarantee for the vigorous and healthy development of Chinese education.Entering the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,in order to ensure the smooth realization of the strategic goal of "making education a powerful country",it is necessary to establish a higher level and high-quality teacher team.In recent years,with the expansion of the enrollment scale of professional degree graduate students,the number of education masters has also increased year by year.Especially after the implementation of the overall cultivation measures for full-time and part-time master’s degrees,the scale of part-time master’s degrees in the field of education is also increasing.The part-time master’s degree in education is mainly aimed at front-line teachers and educational administrators in basic or vocational education,and is increasingly becoming an important source of teaching staff in China.The quality of its training plays an important role in optimizing the structure of teachers and improving the quality of education.Therefore,it is necessary to improve the training quality of part-time education masters in order to improve the development of education in China.This study takes part-time education masters of H Normal University as the research object,takes CBE education theory as the theoretical basis,and comprehensively uses a variety of research methods to carry out research.Through the method of literature research,this paper combs the research status of part-time education masters at home and abroad.On the basis of inheriting and drawing lessons from previous studies,this paper conducts an empirical investigation on the current situation of part-time education master’s training at H Normal University using the methods of questionnaire survey and interview.Starting from six aspects of training program,curriculum setting,teaching process,tutor guidance,educational practice and dissertation examination,This article makes an in-depth analysis of the current situation and major issues in the cultivation of part-time master’s degrees in education in H Normal University.The overall analysis shows that there are the following outstanding problems in the training of part-time masters: the convergence of training programs makes it difficult to highlight the training characteristics;The curriculum is not reasonable,lack of professional degree pertinence;The teaching process needs to be improved and the practical teaching application is insufficient.The implementation of the "dual mentor" system is not in place and the guidance effect is not good;Practical ability assessment and evaluation system lack of standardization.Based on the collected data and the excellent training experience at home and abroad,This article proposes strategies for the cultivation and promotion of part-time education masters,including improving training programs and strengthen the top-level design of professional talent training;Reforming the current teaching model and innovating the credit management mechanism;Constructing a curriculum training system that is more suitable for students’ characteristics;Constructing a more scientific and reasonable tutor guidance mode;Paying attention to improving the cultivation of students’ practical abilities and perfect the corresponding assessment and evaluation mechanism. |
