| The irrational consumption of health care products for the elderly is a striking phenomenon at present,which also causes a series of related problems.At present,the practice and research of social work intervention on irrational consumption of health products in the elderly are relatively rare.This study intends to make a tentative exploration.On the basis of summarizing existing studies,this study uses case work technology,follows the six steps of general social work practice,takes elderly w as the object,guided by rational emotional therapy model,and according to ABC theory and ideographic behavior theory,studies the irrational consumption of health products and the involvement of social work in the elderly.First,through rational emotive therapy,the symptoms of irrational belief in the irrational consumption of health care products in the elderly were diagnosed,including: first,they believe that health care products can cure diseases;Second,they refuse their children’s rational advice to buy less health care products and have a strained relationship with their children.Thirdly,they feel that buying health care products can show their existence and express their value.Fourthly,in the consumption of health care products,there is no standard use of health care products.Subsequently,according to the case work procedure,the action intervention was carried out for the irrational beliefs and behaviors of the elderly,and the services were designed and provided seven times to reverse the irrational beliefs and behaviors of the elderly.On this basis,the results of the case work were evaluated in this thesis,and it was concluded that,on the whole,the intervention services for the irrational consumption of health care products for the elderly achieved remarkable results,the elderly’s irrational belief in health care products was reversed,the wrong ideographic behavior was corrected,and the positive emotions were increased.Finally,the basic characteristics of irrational consumption of health care products in the elderly and relevant findings of social work intervention are summarized. |
