Special education is an important part of our national education.The country attaches great importance to improving the quality and efficiency of special education.The 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to improve the education evaluation system.In November 2022,the Ministry of Education issued the Guidelines for the Quality Evaluation of Special Education,which required to improve the quality evaluation system of special education and put forward major measures.In terms of the appropriate development of students,it proposed three key indicators,including ideological and moral quality,aimed at promoting special students to have good moral quality.With the core of helping deaf students to be responsible citizens,guiding them to develop good moral quality and promoting the social development of deaf students as the purpose,this paper,based on the existing research results,comprehensively uses the research methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,interview,system analysis,etc.,to investigate the current situation of the effectiveness of the teaching of Ideological and Moral Education in junior high schools for the deaf and analyze the reasons,It also puts forward strategies to improve the effectiveness of the teaching of Ideological and Moral Education in junior middle schools for the deaf.This paper is divided into four parts:The introduction of this paper mainly analyzes the purpose and significance of the topic,summarizes the research status at home and abroad according to the collected documents,and finally expounds the research methods,research ideas,innovation points,etc.of the paper.The first chapter mainly expounds the particularity and main characteristics of junior middle school students in deaf schools and the teaching of Ideological and Moral Education Through sorting out the particularity and main characteristics of the physiological and psychological cognition of junior middle school students in deaf schools,this paper expounds the particularity and main characteristics of the teaching of Ideological and Moral Education in junior middle schools in deaf schools from four dimensions,including the combination of sign language and spoken language,the application of rich body language,the emphasis on the intuitive visualization of teaching,and the teaching of Ideological and Moral Education in emotion.The second chapter mainly combs the achievements,problems and reasons in the teaching of Ideological and Moral Education in junior middle schools for the deaf.Combined with the results of questionnaires and interviews and the teaching practice of the ideological and moral lesson in junior high schools for the deaf,this paper investigates and analyzes the achievements and problems in the ideological and moral lesson in junior high schools for the deaf.The results show that certain achievements have been made in the teaching of Ideological and Moral Education in junior high schools for the deaf.For example,information resources have been used to stimulate the ideological and emotional feelings of deaf students,the ideological and moral curriculum standards of deaf schools have been formulated to guide the teaching direction,and multiple evaluation methods have been used to reflect the ideological and moral development of deaf students,so as to strengthen the connection between home and school and pay attention to the ideological changes of students.However,there are still problems such as the deaf students’ lack of understanding of theoretical knowledge,the teachers’ teaching of the ideological and moral lesson in deaf schools is not targeted,the teaching content does not adapt to the cognitive characteristics of deaf students,and the practical teaching links of the ideological and moral lesson for deaf students are weak.Combined with the current teaching situation,it also analyzes the reasons affecting the effectiveness of the teaching of the ideological and moral lesson in junior high schools for the deaf from four aspects: the physiological and cognitive characteristics of deaf students themselves,the professional qualities of teachers of the ideological and moral lesson in deaf schools,the construction of teaching materials for the ideological and moral lesson in deaf schools,and the practice places for the teaching of the ideological and moral lesson for deaf students.The third chapter mainly explores the practical path to improve the effectiveness of the teaching of Ideological and Moral Education in junior high schools for the deaf.In view of the problems and reasons in the teaching of Ideology and Morality Education in junior high schools for the deaf,this paper proposes to follow the laws of physical and mental development to promote the healthy growth of deaf students;Improve the comprehensive quality of teachers and implement the task of establishing morality and cultivating people;Enrich experience teaching methods and strengthen the emotional experience of deaf students;Pay attention to school-based curriculum development,close to the ideological reality of deaf students;Combined with the current teaching situation,this paper also analyzes the reasons that affect the effectiveness of the teaching of Ideological and Moral Education in junior high schools for the deaf from five aspects: the physiological and cognitive characteristics of deaf students,the professional quality of teachers of Ideological and Moral Education in schools for the deaf,the teaching methods,the construction of teaching materials of Ideological and Moral Education in schools for the deaf,and the practical places for the teaching of Ideological and Moral Education for deaf students.
