Cultivating students’ core geography literacy is in line with the requirements of vigorously promoting the basic curriculum reform in China.The development of students’ comprehensive geography thinking is one of the important links in the formation of their core geography literacy.Modern geography teaching theory advocates teachers to use as many enlightening,open and interactive teaching methods as possible to promote the development of students.Case teaching is in line with the above characteristics and plays a great role in promoting the development of students ’literacy.Therefore,this paper discusses how to cultivate students’ comprehensive geographical thinking based on case teaching.The introduction and the first chapter,through the literature research method,Explain the research background and significance,Clarify the research situation,concept and connotation of case teaching and geographical comprehensive thinking,The theoretical basis of this paper is discussed;The second chapter analyzes the relationship between case teaching and geography integrated thinking,That is,the feasibility and effectiveness of cultivating students’ geographical comprehensive thinking in case teaching;Chapter 3 conducts empirical research through work analysis method and classroom observation method,By the analysis of the students’ works,Finding out the problems existing in the students’ comprehensive geographical thinking,At the same time,use the internship time to enter the classroom field observation,Investigate the current situation of case teaching in high school geography classroom,It provides a practical basis for the subsequent strategy proposal;Chapter 4,on the basis of the current situation investigation,puts forward the strategy of cultivating students’ comprehensive geographical thinking in case teaching,including: First,to clarify the training goal of comprehensive thinking;Second,select high-quality cases to ensure the effect of comprehensive thinking training;Third,do a good job of case design,and lay a good foundation for comprehensive analysis;Fourth,in-depth analysis of cases to promote the improvement of comprehensive thinking;Fifth,carefully reflect and improve after class.Then the action research,the case teaching design and classroom implementation,and the students were tested after testing the teaching effect,the practice proved that the teaching strategy is effective and feasible.This study complies with the requirements of modern geography teaching to develop students ’core geography literacy,and puts forward effective training strategies based on the actual teaching situation of teachers and students,which is conducive to teachers to make better use of case teaching to cultivate students’ comprehensive thinking literacy,improve teaching quality and implement moral education.
