Humanistic spirit is the attitude and pursuit of the highest value and ultimate concern based on people’s overall,comprehensive,long-term and fundamental interests,and it is the concentrated embodiment of people’s natural outlook,social outlook and outlook on life.In the context of ideological and political construction of the curriculum,it is urgent to strengthen the cultivation of humanistic spirit of contemporary senior high school students.Geography education emphasizes the cultivation of humanistic spirit of students,and Chinese National Geography magazine plays an important role in assisting senior high school geography teaching,and contains rich resources of humanistic spirit.Therefore,this paper focuses on the cultivation strategy and case design of humanistic spirit in senior high school geography teaching assisted by Chinese National Geography.The research will help to implement the concept of the new geography curriculum standard,optimize the teaching concept of geography teachers,and improve the humanistic spirit of high school students.First of all,this paper defines the dimension and connotation of humanistic spirit from the perspective of geography teaching based on the connotation of humanistic spirit.Humanistic spirit emphasizes "people-oriented" and realizes human value.From the perspective of geography teaching,correctly handling the relationship between man and nature,man and society,man and himself and others is the essence of humanistic spirit.Therefore,based on three aspects of the relationship between man and society,man and nature,man and himself and others,this paper interprets the connotation of humanistic spirit in the perspective of geography teaching from the seven dimensions of resource view,environment view,population view,national consciousness and global consciousness,multiculturalism,relationship between man and himself,and relationship between man and others,and combs the multi-dimensional humanistic spirit resources contained in Chinese National Geography.Secondly,the results of student questionnaires and teacher interviews show that students’ humanistic spirit develops well in the aspects of human and nature,but there are certain deficiencies in the humanistic spirit of the relationship between people and society,people and themselves and others.Some students can not correctly understand the relationship between population and economic and social development,pay ordinary attention to national affairs,can not correctly accept themselves,and are not good at cooperating with others.In addition,students,teachers and schools do not pay enough attention to the cultivation of humanistic spirit,and teachers do not have a comprehensive understanding of humanistic spirit.However,teachers are willing to work hard to improve their level of humanistic knowledge,explore effective ways to cultivate humanistic spirit,and expect the school to provide relevant support conditions.Finally,this paper puts forward four strategies to cultivate humanistic spirit in senior high school geography teaching assisted by Chinese National Geography:enhancing teachers’ humanistic quality with the help of Chinese National Geography;With the help of Chinese National Geography,accumulate materials for geography teaching and humanistic spirit cultivation;Setting up geography teaching scenes with the help of Chinese National Geography;Organize and carry out special activities related to the cultivation of humanistic spirit with the assistance of Chinese National Geography.In addition,this paper takes the first section of the second chapter of the compulsory third course of senior high school geography of People’s Education Press,"Prevention and Control of Desertification" as an example,and cites the relevant pictures and text materials of Chinese National Geography to design a teaching case,which provides a case reference for the cultivation of humanistic spirit in senior high school geography teaching.The inadequacy of this study lies in that the high school students participating in the questionnaire and the geography teachers participating in the interview are mainly concentrated in the Huangdao area;Case teaching has not been tested by actual teaching.In the later stage,we should expand the scope of investigation and sample setting,design more teaching cases based on geography textbooks,and implement them in senior high school geography classroom teaching,so that the research results can really provide more reference for front-line geography teachers. |
