Creativity has always been a hot topic widely concerned by the society.Among the five fields of kindergarten,cultivating children’s creativity through art education has become one of the important goals of early childhood education.The Guide to the Learning and Development of Children aged 3-6issued by the Ministry of Education in 2012 pointed out that the key to learning in the field of art in kindergartens is to fully create conditions and opportunities,to germy children’s feelings and experiences of beauty in nature and social and cultural life,to enrich their imagination and creativity,to guide children to learn to feel and discover beauty with their hearts,and to express and create beauty in their own way.In recent years,creative art activities have gradually entered the vision of early childhood education.Creative art aims to cultivate children’s creativity,imagination,aesthetic ability and artistic quality.By providing rich and diversified creative materials,in a loose and free exploratory creative environment,it adopts diversified teaching methods and evaluation methods to enable children to get comprehensive development.Based on the theoretical research results at home and abroad,this study carried out a practical research on the cultivation of creativity of children in senior class of kindergarten by creative art activities in a kindergarten in Nanchong,from which educational experience was obtained to cultivate children’s creativity.The method of action research was mainly adopted.With the help of class teachers,a3-month creative art teaching activity was carried out in this kindergarten.The research contents are as follows: first,the construction of creative art activities in kindergartens;Second,the relationship between creative art activities and children’s creativity level;Third,the strategy of creative art activities to cultivate creativity.Before the start of the action study,the researcher selected the senior class as the experimental class and the sophomore class as the control class.The Torrance Creative Thinking Test(TTCT-A)was used as the measuring tool to pre-test the creative thinking level of children.The measurement results showed that there was no significant difference between the experimental class and the control class in the creative thinking level.Then three rounds of action research were carried out,during which a total of 13 teaching plans for creative art activities were designed and used in the development of activities to explore whether creative art activities have an impact on the creative thinking of children in senior classes.After the activity,TTCT-A was also used to test the creative thinking of the children in the experimental class and the control class,and the following conclusions were drawn: first,creative art activities had a certain promoting effect on the development of creativity of the children in the senior class on the whole;Secondly,it has obvious promoting effect on the enhancement,originality and refinement of creative thinking of children in senior classes,but has no obvious promoting effect on fluency and title abstraction.Through action and reflection,this paper summarizes and develops the education strategy of cultivating children’s creativity through creative art activities,which mainly includes the following four points: First,kindergarten guidance:strengthen the top-level design of kindergartens to provide solid support;Second,teacher teaching: the effective combination of theoretical knowledge and teaching methods;Third,children’s subject: teacher-child interaction,implement the concept of kindergarten center;Fourth,home cooperation: strengthen home communication,build a bridge of education.
