With the issuance of History Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 Edition,2020revision)and the pilot use of the unified edition of senior high school history textbooks in autumn 2019,Under the guidance of new curriculum standards,how to integrate the five core qualities of history into history teaching and cultivate students’ core qualities of history in the use of new textbooks is a major dilemma faced by history teaching in senior high schools.Cultivating the core quality of students’ discipline not only meets the requirements of the curriculum standards,but also conforms to the requirements of the current university talent selection,and promotes the completion of the educational task of "moral cultivation".Although the five core qualities of history are expressed separately,they are inseparable in history teaching practice.It is necessary for teachers and students to work together to cultivate students’ core quality of history.In order to understand the present situation of history teaching in senior high schools,the teachers and students of Suixian Senior High School,a provincial model high school,were investigated.History teachers use interview survey and students use questionnaire survey.Through the analysis of the survey results,the paper finds out the dilemma of cultivating students’ core quality of history and puts forward the countermeasures.Combining with the emphasis of the curriculum standard on the subject status of students’ learning,it is necessary to correct students’ attitude towards history learning to cultivate students’ core quality of history.Based on the use of unified edition high school history textbooks,teachers are good at creating a history learning situation guided by subject core literacy,studying curriculum standards,and integrating textbook content.Combined with the strategy of cultivating students’ core quality of history,this paper also makes a specific teaching design and reflection on the Western Han Dynasty and the Eastern Han Dynasty--Consolidation of the unified multi-ethnic Feudal State in the Unit 1,Lesson 4,of the unified edition of high school history textbook,Outline of Chinese and Foreign History Outline(I).Through this teaching case,the author tries to explore how to cultivate students’ core literacy of history subject,and provide reference for the cultivation of students’ core literacy in history teaching in senior high school.
