Research On Vocational Education Transformation Of Adult Higher Education

Adult higher education is an important part of higher education in China,which play s a vital role in constructing a learning society and developing lifelong education.However,with the development of social economy and the pursuit of education,China’s higher educat ion has entered the stage of universal development,and the living space of adult higher educ ation has been severely squeezed.At the same time,adult higher education is also faced wit h the crisis of the number of students,the dilemma of teaching quality and the threat of socia l status.Based on the model of vocational education of adult higher education at home and a broad,this paper clarified the relevant concepts of vocational education,sorted out the releva nt theories of vocational education,put forward the transformation strategy of vocational edu cation of adult higher education,and tried to solve the why,what is,what to do and how to d o the transformation of vocational education of adult higher education.It aims to provide str ong theoretical support and strategic guidance for realizing the sustainable connotative devel opment of adult higher education.First,based on stakeholder theory,coordination theory and adult learning theory,the fea sibility and necessity of vocational education in adult higher education are explored.It is poi nted out that the transformation of adult higher education into vocational education must con sider the interests of relevant stakeholders,fully mobilize the initiative of collaborative innov ation of all subjects,train adult learners’ professional qualities and skills,and fully implemen t the cultivation of applied technical talents.Second,the case analysis method is used to explore the practical measures of vocationa l education transformation in Guangzhou Huafeng Branch of The Open University of China,which provides valuable experience for the transformation of vocational education in adul t higher education.Thirdly,on the basis of literature analysis,theoretical research and practical exploration,this paper deeply examines the implementation of vocational education in adult higher educ ation,and summarizes the main difficulties and problems needing attention in the developme nt process of vocational education in adult higher education.From the three levels of govern ment,society and school,this paper summarizes the experience and lessons,and puts forwar d the implementation strategy of optimizing the vocational education practice of adult highe r education.
