| Holding large-scale sports events successfully can not only show the positive attitudes of Chinese people to the world,but also stimulate the enthusiasm of the people to participate in sports and promote the improvement of national quality.The large-scale sports events cannot be achieved successfully without the hard work of volunteers.With the improvement of the events’ quality,the event organizers require volunteers with more criteria.University students have gradually become the key recruiting group for event volunteers due to their high education,quality and ability.Optimizing the management process of university volunteers for large-scale sports events is an effective way to improve the quality of events.Taking the example of 14 th National University Games held in Qingdao in 2021,this paper establishes an index system for evaluating the management effect of college volunteers through hierarchical analysis,Delphi method,questionnaires and etc.Also,it determines the weights of each index through repeated communication with experts and scholars in related fields,and then the questionnaires are distributed according to the index system to university volunteers and volunteer managers who participate in this events.Finally,it analyze the management effect of university volunteers in the14 th National University Games according to the questionnaires.Through researching,it is found that the problems in the management of the university volunteers in the 14 th National University Games are as follows: imperfect recruitment and selection process,formalization in training,inadequate preparation for the event,inadequate coordination mechanism and unsystematic evaluation system for volunteers.The reasons why there are so many problems are as follows: insufficient governmental effectiveness in management process;insufficient attention to volunteers organization;low comprehensive quality of volunteers;inadequate volunteer service management mechanism and less application of Internet in management process.Based on the above problems,this paper propose four countermeasures.The are recruiting and selecting of university volunteers scientifically,improving training system,refining volunteer management system and introducing quality management resources such as Internet respectively,which will provide references for optimizing management of university volunteers in large sports events in China in the future. |
