Every beginning teacher will suffer from the shock of reality at the beginning of his career.beginning teachers are the fresh blood of the educational cause of our country,which plays a vital role in the growth of teachers.After the beginning teachers suffer from the shock of reality at the beginning of their career,if they are not well guided,it will lead to the problem of their professional adaptation,which may even lead to the phenomenon of leaving.Therefore,it is very important for the development of education in our country to pay attention to the shock of reality at the beginning of their career and to help them alleviate the shock of reality.By using the methods of questionnaire and interview,this study aims to explore the current situation of junior high school teachers suffering from realistic shock at the beginning of their career and put forward the corresponding countermeasures.Through a questionnaire survey of 143 junior teachers in middle schools,it is concluded that the current situation of the shock of teachers in middle schools is as follows:(1)there are significant gender differences,in which the score of female teachers is higher than that of male teachers in the total score of realistic shock.and the difference between the two is significant,but in each sub-dimension,the result of female teachers is significantly lower than that of male teachers,but in the dimension of theoretical application.The difference between the two is very significant.(2)with the increase of the working time,the realistic shock suffered by the first-time teachers will be alleviated gradually.(3)the shock of the beginning teachers who serve as the head teacher is lower than that of the teachers who are not the head teacher.(4)the realistic shock of junior high school teachers is lower than that of senior high school teachers.(5)whether the beginning teachers of non-local teaching have the same score in the dimension of working environment and have the lowest score in all dimensions.In other dimensions,it reflects the respective characteristics of the two groups.(6)the realistic shock on the first-time teachers in public schools is lower than that on the first-time teachers in private schools.(7)the realistic shock of the first-time teachers in cities is higher than that in villages and towns.(8)the actual shock of the established beginning teachers is lower than that of the non-established beginning teachers.(9)the actual shock of beginning teachers whose salary is less than 4000 yuan is lower than that of those whose salary is more than 4000 yuan.Through in-depth interviews with 8 low-reality shock teachers,the positive experience of low-reality shock teachers in dealing with reality shock at the beginning of their career is obtained.according to the positive experience of low reality shock teachers,this study summarizes the following countermeasures for beginning teachers to deal with reality shock:(1)beginning teachers do a good job of pre-service inspection before entering the service.At the beginning of the career,it is necessary to maintain a good work mentality and the initial teachers’ personal bias against the gender of teachers.(2)the serving school should formulate scientific guidance programs and increase after-service training to help beginning teachers through the early stages of their career.(3)normal colleges and universities should formulate a reasonable practice system and set up practical teaching courses during the period when beginning teachers receive normal education. |
