Research On The Current Situation And Cultivation Countermeasures Of College Students’ Volunteer Service Spirit In The New Era

The spirit of volunteerism is rooted in China’s excellent traditional culture and is closely integrated with the theoretical connotations of contemporary Chinese Marxism.In the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,volunteerism in China has been flourishing with the attention and support of many parties,and the popularity and standardisation of volunteer activities have been enhanced.Among the growing volunteer team,young university students are the main force involved in volunteer activities,and General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly affirmed and encouraged the volunteer spirit of “dedication,friendship,mutual help and progress”in his letters to the volunteers.However,in the reality of volunteer work,some university students have the problem of insufficient volunteer spirit,which is mainly manifested in the lack of dedication,the weak spirit of “friendship,mutual help and progress”,the lack of sustainability in practicing volunteer spirit and the lack of social responsibility.In order to further promote and develop the cause of volunteerism in China,and to promote the growth of young university students into the “new man of the times” who can take up the responsibility of national rejuvenation,the importance of cultivating the spirit of volunteerism among young university students is self-evident,and it is necessary to conduct special research and propose corresponding cultivation measures.Based on questionnaire research and interview research,and combined with the review of existing literature,this paper composes and summarizes the current situation of university students’ volunteerism from various dimensions,such as awareness,practice and cultivation,and on this basis carries out an attribution analysis of the problems of university students’ volunteerism.This paper finds that the lack of social support for students’ volunteering activities,the lack of precision in the cultivation of volunteering spirit in universities,the misalignment and dislocation of families in the cultivation of volunteering spirit and the neglect of students’ volunteering spirit by themselves are the main reasons for the current situation of“flawed” university students’ volunteering spirit.Further,this paper takes students,schools,families and society as the task object of cultivating work,and puts forward countermeasures to cultivate the spirit of volunteer service of college students in the new era.By grasping the spirit core of volunteer service spirit,combined with rich forms of social practice and application,the theory of ideological and political education is applied from the reality.To promote college students to truly internalize the connotation of voluntary service spirit in mind and externalize in practice.Finally,based on the “great ideological and political courses”,combined with the cooperative mode of “family and school community”,multi-subject cooperative cooperation,comprehensively promote the cultivation of college students’ voluntary service spirit,and realize the multi-dimensional development needs of Chinese voluntary service cause from individual students to the whole society.
