"Chemistry Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 edition)" clearly puts forward that the teaching concept of junior high school chemistry curriculum is to cultivate students’ core chemistry literacy,which is the focus of chemistry teaching reform at present.Scientific inquiry is an important breakthrough in chemistry curriculum reform and an effective way to cultivate students’ scientific literacy.In the course of curriculum implementation,teachers fully realize the importance of hands-on experiments,but ignore the students’ brains to think.Therefore,this study mainly starts from the point of training students to combine their hands with their brains,carries out exploratory experiment teaching through the eight elements of scientific inquiry ability,so as to promote the development of students’ scientific inquiry ability.First of all,the research status of chemical experiment teaching,scientific inquiry at home and abroad was understood.This paper focuses on the analysis of the research results of scientific inquiry,innovation consciousness,determines that the research theme is to combine students’ hands and brains,promote the development of students’ scientific inquiry ability,creative thinking through inquiry-based teaching mode.Secondly,in order to fully understand the current development of chemistry experiment teaching in junior middle schools,the students of three junior middle schools in Pizhou city were investigated by means of questionnaire.At the same time,the chemistry teachers of these schools were interviewed.The results of the investigation were analyzed,the problems existing in the chemical experiment teaching process were found out.Thirdly,in view of the problems existing in the teaching process,the author puts forward the teaching strategies to promote the development of students’ scientific inquiry ability.According to "Chemistry Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022Edition)",the content of chemical experiments that students in compulsory education must do is sorted out,the subject of carbon dioxide property,preparation and neutralization reaction is selected for teaching practice.Starting from the key point of improving the students’ ability to combine their hands and brains,it aims to train students to form chemical thinking.Finally,the teaching practice is evaluated through the test.The results show that: by highlighting the inquiry-based experiment,the teacher’s guidance and implementation strategies of scientific inquiry,the students’ scientific inquiry ability is effectively improved.In the process of teaching practice,students’ divergent thinking is used to guide students to think from multiple angles and elaborate design ideas,so as to promote students’ habit of using their brains to think and the formation of chemical thinking.The inquisitive teaching method improves students’ experimental operation skills,deepens students’ understanding of theoretical knowledge,stimulates students’ interest in learning chemistry,promotes the development of students’ ability to ask questions.However,the improvement of students’ scientific inquiry ability is a long-term development process,which requires more systematic and detailed research in the future. |
