Abstract/Summary:
Contemporary university students, growing up in the Internet age, have witnessed the iterative development of information technology in our country. They possess a certain level of IT ability, and are able to proficiently utilize information technology for learning and communication. The advent of the 5G era has taken a solid step forward in the development of information technology, providing a strong foundation for the reform of educational informatization and presenting both greater opportunities and challenges to educators.Currently, our country’s educational informatization has achieved unprecedented rapid development, with teachers’ IT teaching abilities significantly enhanced, playing a strong driving role in educational and teaching reform.IT teaching is a product that emerges with the progress of the times, and in the context of the post-COVID era, unexpected emergencies such as temporary work stoppages, class cancellations, and school closures may occur, highlighting the importance and necessity of IT teaching. After undergoing the test of the COVID-19 pandemic, our country’s development of educational informatization has revealed certain shortcomings, such as incompatible teaching platforms and inadequate online education services. In the future,by actively exploring new teaching methods and reform measures,we can achieve the leadership of educational informatization in educational modernization, fully tapping and innovating IT means of physical education teaching in higher vocational colleges, while also grasping the characteristics of the "Z generation" students, stimulating female students’ learning motivation and interest in public physical education courses in higher vocational colleges, and thereby improving the quality of physical education classroom teaching and student learning efficiency.Micro-lesson is one of the IT teaching methods, characterized by being short, concise, and focused. This study designs and produces an animated micro-lesson on badminton IT teaching resources, and attempts to combine it with traditional teaching methods, exploring the differences between this teaching mode and the single traditional teaching mode in theoretical and technical teaching of physical education. It aims to provide a theoretical and practical foundation for the innovation and development of various types of animation micro-lessons for physical education in schools in the future. In this study,60 female students from the Social and Cultural Department of Guangdong Dance and Drama College’s class of 2021 were selected as experimental subjects, divided into an experimental group and a control group,with30 participants in each group conducting teaching experiments to explore the application effect of animated micro-lessons in women’s badminton teaching in higher vocational colleges.Research findings:(1)Regarding specialized theoretical learning in badminton, the experimental group exhibited significant improvement in their specialized theoretical scores after the experiment(P=0.000 < 0.01),and their specialized theoretical test scores were significantly higher than those of the control group after the experiment(P=0.003<0.01).(2)Regarding specialized technical learning in badminton, the experimental group exhibited significantly higher scores than the control group in the tests for forehand drive of high and far techniques(P=0.015 < 0.05),forehand high clear(P=0.041<0.05),and motor skill assessment(P=0.000<0.01)after the experiment.(3)In terms of physical form and fitness, the test results for both groups of students after the experiment, including physical form(height, weight)and physical fitness(50m run,800 m run, standing long jump,sit-ups,and forward bend),showed no significant differences between the two groups(P>0.05).Research Conclusions:(1)In the theoretical learning of badminton, the new teaching method is more effective than the traditional teaching mode in improving students’ theoretical level, and it greatly helps students in their theoretical knowledge learning.(2)In the specialized technical learning of badminton, the new method is better in improving the specialized technical level of female college students in vocational colleges, and it has a higher promotion effect on the standardization and normativity of technical movements.(3)In terms of physical fitness and body shape, the new teaching method does not have a significant impact on improving students’ physical fitness and body shape. However, through the comparison of physical fitness indicators before and after the experiment, both groups of students have achieved certain improvements in physical fitness, indicating that badminton physical education courses have certain effects on improving students’ physical fitness.(4)In terms of student adaptability,"Generation Z" students have grown up in the internet era and have the ability to use online learning tools independently. They can quickly grasp the use of online teaching platforms, and the quality of online teaching courses is good, which is easy to promote.(5)Compared with the traditional teaching mode, the animation micro-lesson teaching mode is more popular among female college students in vocational colleges. It effectively improves students’ learning interest and promotes their understanding and mastery of theoretical knowledge and specialized technical movements in sports, which helps to cultivate students’ independent learning and exploration ability.(6)In terms of application scenarios, students mainly use animation micro-lessons for previewing and reviewing, with a higher proportion of after-class learning and a lower proportion of in-class learning, indicating that this teaching mode conforms to the learning rules of students. The characteristic of online + offline mixed learning can effectively improve the overall learning efficiency of the course and promote the improvement of the teaching quality of physical education in colleges and universities.
