Spain Men’s Basketball World Series 2012-2019 Offensive And Defensive Tactics Tracking Study

Spain’s men’s basketball team is a powerhouse in the world of basketball and is known for its "total basketball",having won several men’s basketball European Championships,the 2019 Men’s Basketball World Cup,the 2016 Olympic Games third place and the 2012 Olympic Games runner-up in men’s basketball.Spain’s men’s basketball team has been able to maintain the strength of the championship for many years,its offensive and defensive tactics must have unique features.A comprehensive understanding and analysis of the offensive and defensive tactics of the Spanish men’s basketball team has certain significance for the offensive and defensive tactics training of our men’s national basketball team.Taking the evolution of the offensive and defensive tactics of the Spanish men’s basketball team in the four World Championships in 2012,2014,2016 and 2019 as the research object,the following conclusions were drawn by tracking 31 games of the Spanish men’s basketball team in the four World Championships through the research methods of literature,expert interview,video observation,case analysis and mathematical statistics:1.The four World Championships Spanish men’s basketball team’s offense is mainly position attack,defense mainly uses half-court man-to-man defensive formation,high shooting rate(46.1%),the number of three-point shots is increasing,reasonable use of the body to enhance the aggressiveness of the defense;the tactical form of position attack is constantly improved and enriched,and the defensive base cooperation is more tacit and delicate.2.Spain men’s basketball team has a stable coaching team,its coaching philosophy is more mature,so that the Spanish men’s basketball team has become a combination of offense and defense,a stable style of play,high efficiency,the starting lineup is based on "two big and three small",especially good in terms of assists and control of the number of turnovers,the offensive and defensive tactics are becoming more and more mature team,the choice of experienced players,comprehensive skills and excellent shooting.3.Spain men’s basketball team in the use of offensive tactics,fast break awareness,good use of defense to create fast break opportunities;articulation section of high efficiency in the offense,individual offense mainly in the form of three-point shooting,stable and mature offensive cooperation between players;position attack drop formation in a variety of forms,the mobility and continuity of tactics.4.Spain men’s basketball team in the defense of fast break to the full back to the main,chase defense in place at a high rate,to destroy the opponent’s fast break formation;defensive cooperation is mainly used to squeeze through and exchange defense,reasonable response to the opponent’s offense;defensive formation is mainly used half-court man-to-man defense,the defensive formation change is effective,so that the defense is more targeted,conducive to the protection of good defensive rebounding.
