| Chinese football has been weak for a long time and lags behind overall,leading to a widening gap between national and world high-level competitive football.The European Champions League is one of the world’s highest level of competitive football competitions,which gathers most of the top players and coaching teams in today’s football world,directly reflects and leads the development direction of modern football,and is an important competition platform and window to show and analyze the characteristics and development trend of high-level competitive football in the world.To some extent,the competitive level and tactics of the top four teams in the Champions League can be used as an example of high-level competitive football in the world.On that note,the study of the characteristics of effective attack of the final four teams in the Champions League aims to enrich China’s advanced football attacking skills and tactics and to provide certain theories and practical references for the majority of coaches,especially those at the grassroots level teaching the youth.Literature,expert interviews,questionnaires,video observations,case studies,mathematical statistics and other research methods were employed in the dissertation.Taking the effective offense of 45 games of the final four teams of the Champions League in the 2021-2022 season as the research objects and Excel and SPSS26.0 as research tools,the author conducted systematic statistical research on the indicators and data of the three stages of effective attack--launch,development and ending--and draws the following conclusions:(1)The final four teams of the Champions League mostly choose the 1-4-3-3formation,which helps players control and block space and keep balance by balancing the number of strikers,midfielders and defenders.(2)The launch stage of the effective attack: the final four teams give overall pressure by maintaining a balanced formation so that defenders are able to tackle and control the bouncing ball to get higher possession,and the position where a tackling happens can be closer to the center front area.(3)The development stage of the effective attack: at this stage,players mostly pass within 5 times,and the time spent on attacking lasts shorter than 5 seconds,both of which indicate that the rapid transition from defense to attack features fewer passes and shorter attacking time,and the role of defenders in organizing,attacking,and linking is becoming more and more important;From 4 to 6 players in the central midfield control the ball,moving forward through flank or middle,which is the basic attacking method of the final four teams.However,shots after rapid conversion of 1-3players in short distance in the front field are becoming more and more frequent;Set-piece attacks are mainly from corner kicks and free-kicks in front field.(4)The ending stage of the effective attack: the closer to an average of 14 times per game a football team shoots,the higher the ranking and win rate a team has.Shootings happen mostly during 31 to 45 minutes,with strikers being the main shooters who mostly use their right foot to complete the action.It is an important way of scoring to shoot with the right timing at the right space after interchanging positions to beat the defense.(5)The strategy of the final four teams is to control the ball,utilize the width of the field,and seize every opportunity to pass forward.But there is a trend to win the ball through active defense and then make a quick transition.Besides,it takes a shorter time to shoot after the transition.(6)Liverpool completed 227 effective attacks in the Champions League this season and scored 30 goals with an average of 17.46 shots per game.Through active defensive,Liverpool had higher possession for the following rapid conversion,thus shooting more and scoring more. |
