| After the World Anti-Doping Agency(WADA)removed caffeine from the doping list in 2004,caffeine is widely used in sports as a legal anti-fatigue,pro-excitement powerful supplement.Appropriate dose intake has a positive effect on human reaction, alertness, attention, energy level, etc.,and the degree of resistance to exercise fatigue is enhanced, which shows great application prospects in improving sports performance and shortening exercise recovery time. This study aims to explore the effects of different concentrations of caffeine intake on technical and physical indicators of tennis players,so as to propose a feasible path to improve athletes’ athletic performance. In this study,a randomized, double blind, controlled trial was conducted to investigate the effects of caffeine intake in the placebo group(0 mg,CON),3 mg/kg body weight(3 mg/kg,CAF3),6 mg/kg body weight(6 mg/kg,CAF6),and 9 mg/kg body weight(9 mg/kg,CAF9)on tennis players, using the technical and physical indicators of caffeine intervention as evaluation criteria. The technical index test refers to the tennis technical test standards issued by the International Tennis Number(ITN),including the depth of stroke, stroke accuracy, volley accuracy, and service success rate.Body indicators Monitor physical indicators during exercise using the First Beat body indicator detection device, including training impulse(TRIMP),energy consumption, aerobic training effects, and training status. To determine the effect of caffeine on the athletic performance of tennis players, this study divided the test indicators into technical indicators and physical indicators. The results showed that:(1)technical indicators: through the intervention of different caffeine concentrations,no significant difference between the ingestion dose and the test time(p>0.05)was found, but repeated measurement ANOVA showed that the intake of different concentrations of caffeine had a significant effect on the technical indicators(p<0.05),combined with t-test and two-factor experiments,it was shown that the intake of 6 mg/kg of caffeine before exercise could significantly improve the technical indicators of tennis players(p<0.05).(2)Physical indicators: Through the intervention of different caffeine concentrations,it was found that compared with the CON,CAF3 and CAF9 caffeine groups, the CAF6 group could improve the training state and aerobic training effect of tennis players, reduce the training impulse, and increase energy consumption.Through the intervention of caffeine, technical indicators:hitting depth, hitting accuracy, volley accuracy, serve success rate, physical indicators:training impulse(TRIMP),energy expenditure, aerobic training effect, training status have been improved, especially the intake of 6 mg/kg of caffeine.Through research and analysis, the following conclusions were drawn: taking moderate doses of caffeine(3 mg/kg~6 mg/kg)can improve the technical indicators of tennis players such as hitting depth, hitting accuracy, volley accuracy, and serve success rate, and at the same time have a positive promoting effect on their aerobic training effect and training state. |
