| At present,we are in the period of a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation.The integration of advanced manufacturing and modern service industry(hereinafter referred to as the integration of the "two industries")is to meet the requirements of this transformation.The integration of the "two industries" is an important way to speed up the construction of a manufacturing power and enhance the core competitiveness of the manufacturing industry.The Central Economic Work Conference emphasized: "To enhance the core competitiveness of the manufacturing industry",which is an inevitable requirement to promote the transformation and upgrading of China’s manufacturing industry,but also a key point to promote the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to explore the influence of the integrated development of advanced manufacturing and modern service industry on the core competitiveness of manufacturing industry to boost China’s industrial economic strength and promote the high-quality development of manufacturing industry.First of all,this paper reviews relevant literature and theoretical basis,defines relevant concepts of "two industries",systematically analyzes the integration motivation of "two industries" integration and the influence path of "two industries" integration development on the core competitiveness of manufacturing industry.Then,the development level of advanced manufacturing industry and modern service industry is evaluated from the four dimensions of industrial scale,development speed,social contribution and economic benefit.In view of the lack of data of some modern service industries in some provinces,the development level of "two industries" was only evaluated in 19 provinces.The coupling coordination degree model is further used to estimate the integration level of "two industries" in 19 provinces during 2012-2020.Based on the four dimensions of economic competitiveness,high-end competitiveness,innovation competitiveness and green development competitiveness,the entropy method is used to measure the core competition of manufacturing industry in 30 provinces during 2012-2020.Finally,the regression analysis of the influence of the integrated development of "two industries" on the core competitiveness of manufacturing industry in 19 provinces was carried out through the fixed effect model,and the threshold effect of the integrated development of "two industries" on the core competitiveness of manufacturing industry was tested based on the panel threshold model.The results show that:(1)The integration level of advanced manufacturing and modern service industry in 19 provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions presents a trend of steady improvement,but the gap between provinces is obvious.(2)From 2012 to 2020,the core competitiveness of China’s manufacturing industry is constantly improving,but the overall level is low.The core competitiveness of the manufacturing industry in the eastern region is the highest,and the western region is the lowest.The development level gap among provinces is gradually expanding.(3)Generally speaking,the integrated development of "two industries" has a significant positive effect on the improvement of core competitiveness of manufacturing industry;In terms of regions,only the integrated development of "two industries" in the economically developed areas has a significant positive effect on the improvement of the core competitiveness of manufacturing industry,while the integrated development of "two industries" in the economically underdeveloped areas has no obvious effect on the improvement of the core competitiveness of manufacturing industry,and there is regional heterogeneity.There is a single threshold value for the integrated development of "two industries" to improve the core competitiveness of manufacturing industry.When the threshold value is crossed,the positive effect of the integrated development of "two industries" to improve the core competition of manufacturing industry is significantly enhanced.Therefore,we should seize the opportunity of reform,improve the development level of advanced manufacturing industry,strengthen the correlation of technological innovation between the "two industries",overcome the "external" dependence,and develop our own characteristics of the "two industries" integration mode,so as to constantly enhance the core competitiveness of our manufacturing industry. |
