With the advent of science and technology era,the demand for computer professionals is increasing.How to train more people with higher computer application technology and innovation ability in secondary vocational schools has become an urgent problem to be solved.The teaching content of computer courses not only involves the basic computer knowledge and operation skills,but also includes the basic programming knowledge,both theory and practice.PBL(Problem-Based Learning)emphasizes the cultivation of students’ application consciousness and innovation ability,and is a more efficient and effective way of teaching,which is compatible with the training objectives of secondary vocational schools.In view of this,the thesis is based on the PBL teaching mode to study and practice the teaching of “Programming Fundamentals” course in secondary school.Firstly,the thesis uses the literature survey method to sort out and summarize the connotation,characteristics and theoretical base of PBL teaching mode.According to the relevant theory,the questionnaire is designed from the aspects of students’ learning attitude,teachers’ teaching methods and teaching evaluation methods,and in-depth analysis of the difficulties and challenges faced by the classroom teaching of“Programming Fundamentals” in secondary vocational schools.Secondly,the PBL teaching process is constructed by analyzing the learners and the course content,which is divided into five processes: “Create situation,elicit problems”,“explain new knowledge,analyze problems”,“group cooperation,solve problems”,“report results,share and exchange”,“reflect,evaluate,summarize and improve”.Finally,using the quasi-experimental research method,two classes of students in the first year of computer network technology in a secondary school in Lanzhou City were selected as the experimental objects,and different teaching methods were adopted.The performance data of the two classes before and after teaching were compared and analyzed by SPSS to verify the teaching effect of the PBL teaching mode applied to the course of“Programming Fundamentals”.The results show that the PBL teaching model is conducive to stimulating students’ interest in learning and improving their academic performance,and students’ independent learning ability,problem solving ability,teamwork ability and practical operation ability have been significantly improved.At the end of the thesis,the author summarizes the whole research process,points out the shortcomings,and puts forward the prospect for future research.
