Since China entered the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the strategy of accelerating the construction of a sports power has become a strong driving force in promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.As the main position for cultivating talents,the development of physical education in colleges and universities will closely focus on moral education,discipline construction,and other aspects,with the goal of enhancing students’ physical health and promoting individual socialization as its own responsibility.Functional motion screening is a scientific theoretical method for testing human motion patterns,which can identify,grade,and prioritize problems such as limitations in physical activity,functional asymmetry of both limbs,and motion compensation.Based on this,the formulation of motion correction programs can effectively reduce the probability of sports injury and improve the level of body function.In practical application,it plays a positive role in promoting the concept of "three complete education" for physical education majors in colleges and universities in the new era,comprehensively developing and cultivating composite sports education talents,and innovating sports theories and methods.This study is based on the theory of functional motion screening,sports physiology,sports anatomy,and physical fitness training theories and methods.Using research methods such as literature,experiment,mathematical statistics,and logical analysis,48 students from the specialized physical fitness training course of the School of Physical Education of Northwest Normal University were selected as experimental subjects.Functional motion screening was used to test the students at the beginning and end of the semester,respectively,Combining the test results and analysis,master the basic physical condition and functional action level of students in professional physical training courses,and screen for potential sports injury risks.According to the analysis results of the test,targeted development of three stages of16 weeks of exercise correction training will provide some support for students in physical fitness training courses to master scientific training methods,complete training course objectives,improve the level of physical function,and reduce the probability of sports injury,and provide corresponding model reference for the specific application of functional action screening tests in sports practice.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)The 48 students who participated in the test at the beginning of the semester had a total score of 14 or more in the 7 basic motor activity mode tests.Based on comprehensive analysis,it can be concluded that the functional action screening scores of students in the physical fitness training class are basically up to standard.However,some students have problems such as weak core control,poor physical stability,insufficient physical flexibility,and imbalanced and asymmetric development of the left and right sides of the body.(2)Based on the results and analysis of the functional action screening test at the beginning of the semester,a 16 week exercise correction training program is developed from three stages: the development of body flexibility and coordination,the improvement of core muscle group strength and body stability,and the reshaping of body functional action patterns,combined with the plan and goals of professional physical fitness training courses.(3)After 16 weeks of exercise correction training,compared with the results of the start of the semester test,the total score of the functional action screening test at the end of the semester has significantly improved,and the scores of the seven basic action modes have significantly improved.The students’ action modes have been improved to a certain extent,with fewer compensatory movements and significant exercise correction effects.(4)Based on the results and analysis of the functional action screening test at the beginning of the semester as the basis for formulating the exercise correction training plan,the scientific and practical nature of the exercise correction training plan is demonstrated by comparing the data with the results of the functional action screening test at the end of the semester,as well as the improvement of the physical action function level of the tested students.
