Since 2021,the Yunnan Province has added experimental operation examination to the middle school biology achievement test,which has put forward new requirements for the teaching of middle school biology experiments.However,the review of experiments in the middle school biology experiment teaching is still relatively lacking.The experiment topic-based review integrates and reorganizes experimental topics in a thematic form,and carries out the review of middle school biology experiments with students as the main body and teachers as the guidance.This approach overcomes the problems of fragmented review,vague review methods,and tight review time in middle school biology experiment review,while enhancing students’ comprehensive experimental ability,cultivating students’ rational thinking,and developing students’ core subject literacy.This study took the students in the second year of a junior high school in Kunming city as the research object.Before the middle school biology experiment operation examination,thematic teaching methods were used for teaching,designing,and practical research.After investigating the problems in the teaching and review of middle school biology experiments in this school,the 12 experimental topics in the syllabus were combined into knowledge modules using the "problem chaining,guiding exploration and practical thematic","task guidance,training scientific thinking thematic",and "situational perception,establishing life concept thematic".The practical research was completed,and "divergent thinking,personalized experimental innovation thematic" was used to evaluate students’ review results.The results showed that after the experiment was reviewed thematically,students’ comprehensive experimental ability and biological literacy were improved.On the basis of the overall development of students’ core subject literacy in biology,their innovative thinking was further expanded.The teaching activity of experiment topicbased review is effective,perfecting the review path of experiments,enriching the content of experimental teaching,and having certain value and reference significance. |
