Time management disposition is an important personality trait.For high school students with heavy academic work,having a higher level of time management disposition will have a positive impact on their personal development.Currently,many provinces in China are carrying out college entrance examination reform.Facing the new college entrance examination model,teachers and students must jointly explore new education and learning modes to effectively cope with the reformed gaokao.For 2022 new high school freshmen,they also need to learn more subjects than junior high school students.How to conduct efficient learning within a limited time is a practical issue that students and educators must deeply consider.Currently,most of the existing research on time management disposition is conducted for college students,while relatively few studies have been conducted on high school student groups.Based on this,this study uses a standardized psychological scale to investigate the current situation of time management disposition among senior one students,and explores whether the self-designed group psychological counseling intervention activity has an improvement effect on the time management tendency level of high school students.This study takes high school students as subjects and is divided into two parts.Study 1: Using a questionnaire survey method and the "Adolescent Time Management Disposition Scale",a survey was conducted on the current situation of time management dispositions among a total of 500 senior one students in a high school in Ningbo,Zhejiang Province.The results showed that:(1)The time management disposition of senior one students is generally at a moderate level,but there is an imbalance.(2)There is a significant gender difference between the feedback sub dimension and the time management behavioral efficacy sub dimension,with boys scoring significantly higher than girls.(3)There are significant differences in the concept of time monitoring among students from different places of origin,with urban students scoring higher and performing at a better level.(4)The three dimensions of time management disposition show significant differences to varying degrees in whether or not they serve as class leaders,with students who serve as class leaders scoring higher.(5)The sub dimension of time management behavioral effectiveness presents significant differences in performance bias,with science biased students having higher levels.Study 2: Choose appropriate psychological activities to provide group counseling intervention on time management tendencies for high school students with lower scores in Study1.Two classes with a low level of time management disposition were selected,and 26 people were randomly selected from each class and divided into an experimental group(26 people)and a control group(26 people).Members of the experimental group participated in systematic group counseling on time management disposition,while members of the control group received normal psychological courses.Group counseling is conducted once a week for a total of 8 times.After the intervention activities,conduct post testing and data analysis on the two groups,the following results can be obtained:(1)After intervention,there was a significant difference in the pre and post test scores of the time management disposition scale in the experimental group,and the scores of the students in the experimental group were significantly improved.(2)After intervention,there was a significant difference in the post-test scores of the Time Management Disposition Scale between the experimental group and the control group,and the scores of the students in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group.Research has shown that systematic group counseling intervention activities can improve the level of time management disposition of high school students.
