Research On The Historical Evolution And Development Trend Of Skateboarding In China

Skateboarding is widely loved by modern young people.As a trendy sport,skateboarding has achieved breakthrough development in all countries around the world,and is one of the fastest growing sports in the world.Skateboarding was included in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games in 2016.After 2028,the Los Angeles Olympic Games will make skateboarding a permanent Olympic event.Skateboarding entered China in the 1980 s.With the decades of development of skateboarding in China,more and more young people began to join the sport.At present,China has about 1.2 million skateboarding people,whose influence in China is gradually increasing,and will attract more and more people to participate in this project in the future.Therefore,we use oral history,literature,text analysis,logic analysis and other methods to sort out the development process of China’s skateboarding,with a view to summing up experience and enlightening the future.The development of skateboarding in China has obvious characteristics of the times at different stages.(1)The incubation stage showed two characteristics:skateboards had a poor foundation in the field of mass sports,and the development was mainly spontaneous;The identity of "foreign goods" is affected by economic development,and the social acceptance is poor.Products and sites are scarce,and it is difficult to form a market.(2)The rapid development stage shows three characteristics: skateboarding has become popular,with localized products and professional sports and venues;Folk forces voluntarily and consciously undertake the organization of skateboarding events and project promotion,and begin to form an industrial chain;The value orientation of the people on skateboarding is from "not knowing" to "understanding"(3)The rapid development stage is characterized by three points: mass sports and competitive sports go hand in hand,mutual benefit and win-win,policies promote rapid development,and the industry enters the stage of specialization;The spiritual and cultural needs of the people further promote the commercial development of skateboard projects;With the collision of mainstream culture,the stereotype is gradually eliminated.Through sorting out the development process and stage characteristics of China’s skateboarding,we can summarize its historical experience,which mainly includes four points:(1)The level of economic development is the necessary basis for the development of skateboarding.With the continuous improvement of culture,economy and other levels,skateboarding in China is bound to get considerable development;(2)Policies and regulations are the necessary prerequisites for the comprehensive and professional development of skateboarding projects.While skateboarding in China is developing rapidly,there are also some problems.The system is not sound enough;Lack of policy support and support;The low level of social support restricts the development of skateboarding.The state supports the development of skateboarding and gradually puts it on the track of orderly and healthy development;(3)The collision between skateboard culture and mainstream culture has gone through the process of building circles,expanding circles,breaking circles and guarding circles for many times.The Chinese skateboard subculture group has realized its flexible resistance to the outside world’s compilation based on the commercial,sports and institutional background of the significance of the subculture circle,the subculture style,and the sport based skateboard technology innovation.(4)Due to the difference of economic development level in different regions,the development of skateboarding is uneven,and the distribution of skateboarding sites and resources is uneven,non-standard,and low profitability.After nearly three decades of development,skateboarding in China has entered a comprehensive development stage.The organization of competitive competitions,the improvement of school education,the publication of relevant books and magazines,and the training of referees and coaches have been carried out.But there are also problems in the development.Compared with the world,the overall level of skateboarding development in China is still in the middle and lower reaches;The number of professional skaters and professional teams participating in skateboarding is relatively small;The training system of skateboard instructors,referees and coaches is not perfect.In addition,restricted by the characteristics of the project itself and other factors,the development of skateboarding in China is relatively slow.With the continuous development of economy and culture,the development of skateboarding in China is bound to be good.
